Celebration of international women's day 2026.

DASCOH ENGAGE project celebrate International women's day 2026 collaboration with the upazila administration and the community level. DASCOH arrange rally, human chain, singnature campaign, discussion session with the upazila asministration. on the other hand arrange public event, oath to break the darkness, discussion session on the community level. Thanks to all the stakeholders those are support to fulfill the program smoothly.

Through the THRIVE project, vulnerable women, youth, and marginalized communities in climate vulnerable areas strengthen their power and resilience. They build practical skills, expand livelihood options, and steady their incomes through climate shocks. They navigate essential services and safety nets, and they lead community risk planning so local priorities shape decisions. Together, communities raise their voices for fairness, rights, and lasting, safer futures.

Teams from KfW-Germany and CBF/BRAC visited the Urban Re-Gen Project in Rajshahi today.
Local participants and children warmly welcomed the delegation with flowers.

During the project presentation session, Mr. Akramul Haque, CEO of DASCOH Foundation, delivered the welcome speech, followed by a lesson-learned session at the DASCOH Foundation meeting room.

The delegation then visited one of the most vulnerable communities under Rajshahi City Corporation—the Court Station rail line–side settlement. They observed the beneficiary selection process and attended a community-led presentation on the slum profile and social mapping for vulnerability assessment.

The visiting team highly appreciated the project’s processes and acknowledged the quality of the work.
Mr. Azizur Rahman, CCDO of Rajshahi City Corporation, also joined both the session and the field visit.

ডাসকো ফাউন্ডেশন এর এ-এমপাওয়ার প্রকল্পের আওতায় ইউসেপ রাজশাহী টিভিইটি ইন্সটিটিউট রাজশাহী, নওগাঁ ও চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জ জেলার ২০ জন তরুণকে এই প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করে।

২০ দিন ব্যাপী প্রশিক্ষণে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা ইলেক্ট্রিক্যাল প্রশিক্ষণের অর্থনৈতিক গুরুত্ব, হ্যান্ডটুলস ও পাওয়ার টুলস, প্যারালাল সার্কিট তৈরি, ইলেক্ট্রিক্যাল ড্রয়িং ও সুইজ বোর্ড কানেকশন, হাউজ ওয়্যারিং বিষয়ে ব্যবহারিক দক্ষতা অর্জন করে। তারা জানান, এই প্রশিক্ষণ তাদের আত্মনির্ভরশীল হতে সাহায্য করবে এবং নিজেদের ও পরিবারের অর্থনৈতিক উন্নয়নে অবদান রাখতে পারবে।

উল্লেখ্য, এ-এমপাওয়ার প্রকল্প কিশোর-কিশোরী ও তরুণ জনগোষ্ঠীর যৌন প্রজনন স্বাস্থ্য, তাদের ক্ষমতায়ন, মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য ও জীবিকা উন্নয়নের জন্য কাজ করছে।

“এসো দেশ বদলাই, পৃথিবী বদলাই” প্রতিপাদ্যকে সামনে রেখে তারুণ্যের উৎসব—২০২৫ উপলক্ষ্যে রাজশাহীতে ১৪/১০/২০২৫ ইং তারিখে পরিবার পরিকল্পনা বিভাগ, রাজশাহীর উদ্যোগে এবং ডাসকো ফাউন্ডেশন এর A-EMPOWER প্রকল্পের সহযোগীতায় বিনামূল্যে ব্লাড গ্রুপিং ও স্বাস্থ্য শিক্ষা সেশন এবং বিশেষ স্বাস্থ্য সেবা ক্যাম্প আয়োজন করা হয়।

স্থান: মুরারীপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় এবং দামকুড়া মডেল ইউনিয়ন স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ কেন্দ্র, পবা, রাজশাহী।

অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন পরিবার পরিকল্পনা অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক—ডা. আশরাফী আহমদ এনডিসি, ডাঃ মোঃ সুলতান আহম্মদ— পরিচালক (MCH Services), ড. কস্তুরী আমিনা কুইন—পরিচালক, পরিবার পরিকল্পনা, রাজশাহী বিভাগ, রাজশাহী, মোঃ আব্দুর রাজ্জাক—উপপরিচালক, পরিবার পরিকল্পনা, রাজশাহী, ডাঃ মোঃ রফিকুল ইসলাম তালুকদার—সহকারী পরিচালক (CCSDP), ডাঃ মোঃ সোহেল হাবীব—সহকারী পরিচালক (MCRAH), ডাঃ মোঃ মাহবুবুল আলম—সহকারী পরিচালক (সিসি), মোসাঃ রাফিউন নাহার—সহকারী পরিচালক, পরিবার পরিকল্পনা, রাজশাহী এবং ডাসকো ফাউন্ডেশনের প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মোঃ আকরামুল হক। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন পবা উপজেলারUFPO, MO (MCH-FP) এবং পরিবার পরিকল্পনা বিভাগের মাঠ পর্যায়ের কর্মীবৃন্দ।

আজ "বিশ্ব মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য দিবস"

২০২৫ সালের প্রতিপাদ্য “সেবায় প্রবেশাধিকার: বিপর্যয় ও জরুরি অবস্থায় মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য” (𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 – 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬)

এর মূল লক্ষ্য হলো প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ, যুদ্ধ, মহামারি বা অন্যান্য মানবিক সঙ্কটে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত মানুষের মানসিক সহায়তার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরা।

The JICA team visited the A-EMPOWER project activities at the Damkura Model UH&FWC, the Alokchottro Community Adolescent Forum, the Murarpur High School Adolescent Forum, and the sanitary waste disposal system. During the visit, they observed the active participation of adolescents and community members in promoting health and well-being. The adolescents expressed their joy and excitement while sharing their feelings, experiences, and the positive changes they have witnessed through the project. The visit fostered encouragement and motivation, inspiring both the community and the adolescents to continue their journey towards better health, empowerment, and sustainable practices.
