At today's Quarterly Communication, it was announced that Right Worshipful Brother David Medlock's resignation as Assistant Grand Master has been accepted by the Grand Master, with effect from Tuesday, the 9th of September.

David has served the Craft with unwavering dedication throughout his tenure, and we express our gratitude for his invaluable contributions to Freemasonry.

As a result of this change, the Grand Master has been pleased to appoint Charles Hopkinson-Woolley to succeed David as Assistant Grand Master. We extend our warmest congratulations to Charles and wish him every success as he undertakes this important office.

Furthermore, it was also announced that Ed Goodchild, Deputy President of the Masonic Charitable Foundation, would be promoted to the rank and office of Grand Director of Ceremonies. His proven commitment and exemplary service to Freemasonry makes him most deserving of this honour.

We trust that all our members will join us in offering RW Bro Medlock our sincere thanks and in extending our best wishes to RW Bro Hopkinson-Woolley and VW Bro Goodchild as they assume their new roles!

Earlier this month, the California Masonic Foundation stepped up to the plate at the Angels Nike RBI Opening Day event! We handed out custom-made baseball gloves to local kids, who got to break them in with some fun team drills out on the grass.
