Nobody talks about what happens after the patient pays. 💊

It was a Tuesday morning in Mamfe. 📋 Stack of paper registers on my desk. A calculator. And a Regional audit three weeks away.

I needed to verify:
✅ Decade deposits — all correct?
✅ — properly calculated?
✅ Cost recovery funds — not overspent?
✅ Solidarity Fund — deposited at BISEC?

Four verification streams. All manual. All prone to error. In a district where the hospital had been a ruin just 18 months earlier. 🏥

That morning, I did what I always do when a problem has no good solution:

I built one. 🛠️

---

Today, I'm releasing that tool publicly — for free.

🔬 The Internally Generated Funds Financial Management Tool is a single HTML file that:

→ Automates the official 6-step formula in real time
→ Captures daily revenues across 12 service lines by service tab
→ Calculates Net RA per from actual daily revenues — not monthly total ÷ 3 (the most common manual error)
→ Runs a 6-point engine that cross-checks every financial data pair simultaneously
→ Generates print-ready audit reports for IGF, DRSP, and submission
→ Works with zero internet, zero installation, zero server — open the file, begin

It was built in Mamfe, tested in one of the most operationally complex health districts in Cameroon, and applied in a hospital that reopened after being burned during the sociopolitical crisis.

It is not an official product. It is something better: a tool built by someone who actually does the job, understands the regulations from the inside, and needed it to work in the field.

📖 The full story — why I built it, how the triangulation engine works, and what this means for in Francophone Africa — is on Digital Health Africa:

Many health teams do not actually have a data problem. 📊
They have a data review problem. 🔍
Every month, facilities submit reports into . Review meetings are held. Numbers are presented. Performance is discussed.
But in many cases, the real issues are still missed.
⚠️ A district may appear to be improving while key indicators are inconsistent.
⚠️ A facility may report acceptable figures while hidden gaps in service delivery remain unresolved.
⚠️ A program may focus on coverage and completely miss coherence, completeness, or silent performance decline.
That is the gap I have been working on in and practice.
After sharing my free Reproductive Health Data Quality and Performance Review Tool, I received encouraging traction. That tells me one thing clearly:
There is real demand for practical systems that help health managers move from raw data to actionable decisions. 🚀
So I am taking the next step.
I am now opening discussions with:
🔹 District health management teams
🔹 Monitoring and evaluation officers
🔹 Program managers
🔹 NGO and donor-supported health projects
🔹 users who need a more structured performance review process
I can help design or adapt practical tools for teams that want to:
✅ identify data quality problems faster
✅ detect indicator inconsistencies early
✅ improve performance review meetings
✅ strengthen supportive supervision with evidence
✅ turn routine data into clearer management action
This is especially relevant for teams working in:
🩺
💉
🦟
🏥
📈 district performance management

And this is only the beginning. I am building a growing library of practical free tools for health teams. The next releases in the pipeline are:
📦 a Pharmacy Inventory Management Tool to support stock monitoring, ordering, and accountability
💰 an Internal Financial Audit Tool to strengthen internal controls and routine financial review

If your team needs a customized data quality review tool, performance dashboard, or structured monthly review template, send me a direct message or comment REVIEW below.
I am especially interested in speaking with teams that want tools they can actually use in routine district or program management, not just admire in a presentation.

🚀 I am excited to share Version 1.0 of the Reproductive Health Data Quality and Performance Review Tool.
This is a practical Excel-based tool designed to help public health managers, reproductive health focal persons, M&E officers, DHIS2 users, district health teams, NGO staff, and program officers review one-month DHIS2 aggregate reproductive health facility data.
The tool helps users quickly identify:
✅ Missing required values
✅ Zero-only reporting
✅ ANC1 vs LLIN inconsistencies
✅ Deliveries vs AMTSL gaps
✅ Caesarean section performance
✅ PNC
