বগুড়া পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউট যুব রেড ক্রিসেন্ট-এর উদ্যোগে আজ আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER।
উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন জনাব মোঃ ইসমাইল হোসেন, দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষক, বগুড়া সরকারি পলিটেকনিক ইন্সটিটিউট- যুব রেড ক্রিসেন্ট, বগুড়া। সহ-সভাপতিত্ব করেন মোসাঃ মৌসুমী খাতুন, দায়িত্ব প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষক, বগুড়া সরকারি পলিটেকনিক ইন্সটিটিউট- যুব রেড ক্রিসেন্ট, বগুড়া।
প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে অ্যাপটির ডিজিটাল উদ্বোধন করেন বগুড়া পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউটের সম্মানিত অধ্যক্ষ জনাব মোঃ শফিকুল ইসলাম।
বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সাজু মুহম্মদ শাহজাদা, উপাধ্যক্ষ ও ওসি একাডেমিক ইনচার্জ, বগুড়া সরকারি পলিটেকনিক ইন্সটিটিউট।

এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন অত্র প্রতিষ্ঠানের সম্মানিত শিক্ষকবৃন্দ, বাংলাদেশ রেড ক্রিসেন্ট সোসাইটির বগুড়া জেলা ইউনিটের নেতৃবৃন্দ, BPI RCY-এর স্বেচ্ছাসেবক এবং শিক্ষার্থীবৃন্দ।
BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER একটি আধুনিক Web Application, যার মাধ্যমে জরুরি মুহূর্তে প্রয়োজনীয় রক্তের গ্রুপ অনুযায়ী দ্রুত রক্তদাতা খুঁজে পাওয়া যায়। অ্যাপটিতে রয়েছে Verified Donor Badge, Report System, Admin Monitoring এবং সহজ ও ব্যবহারবান্ধব ইন্টারফেস, যা রক্তদাতা ও রক্তগ্রহীতার মধ্যে নিরাপদ ও দ্রুত সংযোগ স্থাপনে সহায়তা করবে।
অনুষ্ঠানে অ্যাপটির বিভিন্ন ফিচারের লাইভ প্রদর্শনী উপস্থাপন করেন বগুড়া পলিটেকনিক ইনস্টিটিউটের ২০২৩–২৪ শিক্ষাবর্ষের ইলেকট্রিক্যাল টেকনোলজির শিক্ষার্থী এবং অ্যাপটির Founder & Developer রেজুয়ানুল হক রিফাত।
অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তারা বলেন, কারিগরি শিক্ষা শুধু দক্ষ জনশক্তি তৈরি করে না, বরং বাস্তব সমস্যার প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর সমাধান উদ্ভাবনের মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্ভাবনী চিন্তা ও সৃজনশীলতাকে বিকশিত করে। BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER তারই একটি উজ্জ্বল উদাহরণ, যেখানে একজন কারিগরি শিক্ষার্থীর উদ্ভাবন মানবিক সেবাকে আরও দ্রুত, সহজ এবং কার্যকর করতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখবে।
উপস্থিত অতিথিরা উদ্যোগটির প্রশংসা করেন এবং মানবিক সেবায় প্রযুক্তির ইতিবাচক ব্যবহার ও কারিগরি শিক্ষার্থীদের উদ্ভাবনী উদ্যোগকে আরও উৎসাহিত করার আহ্বান জানান।
Today, BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER was officially inaugurated under the initiative of Bogura Polytechnic Institute Youth Red Crescent.
The program was presided over by Mr. Md. Ismail Hosen, Teacher-in-Charge, Bogura Polytechnic Institute Youth Red Crescent, Bogura. The session was co-chaired by Ms. Mousumi Khatun, Teacher-in-Charge, Bogura Polytechnic Institute Youth Red Crescent, Bogura.
The application was officially launched by the Honorable Principal of Bogura Polytechnic Institute, Mr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, who attended the event as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the platform digitally.
Special Guests included Saju Muhammad Shahjada, Vice Principal & Officer-in-Charge (Academic), Bogura Polytechnic Institute; Rasheda Khatun Rani, Executive Committee Member, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Bogura Unit; and Md. Ahad Islam Niyon, Deputy Youth Chief-2, Bogura Unit.
Also present at the event was Sikdar Rahad Islam Topu, Unit Level Officer, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Bogura District Unit, along with respected faculty members of the institute, leaders of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Bogura District Unit, BPI RCY volunteers, and students.
BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER is a modern web application designed to help users quickly find blood donors based on the required blood group during emergencies. The platform features a Verified Donor Badge, Report System, Admin Monitoring, and a simple, user-friendly interface to ensure a safe and efficient connection between blood donors and recipients.
During the event, a live demonstration of the application's features was presented by Rezwanul Haque Rifat, Founder & Developer of the platform and a student of the Electrical Technology Department (Session: 2023–24) at Bogura Polytechnic Institute.
The speakers emphasized that technical education is not only about developing skilled professionals but also about creating innovative, technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. BPI RCY BLOOD FINDER stands as an inspiring example of how a technical student's innovation can make humanitarian services faster, easier, and more effective.
The distinguished guests highly appreciated the initiative and encouraged greater use of technology in humanitarian service while inspiring students of technical education to continue developing innovative solutions for society.
