♻️ Transforming PVC Waste into Sustainable Wealth!
​PVC is one of the world's most used plastics, with 50M+ tons produced annually. A huge portion ends up as short-lived advertising banners, creating a massive environmental challenge.
​In Bangladesh, we generate nearly 1 million tons of plastic waste every year, much of it being PVC banners and signboards that are simply thrown away.
​Recent research by BCSIR has unlocked the potential to recycle these discarded banners into value-added materials. This innovation supports resource efficiency and promotes a circular economy.
​By recycling PVC, we can protect our environment and drive sustainable industrial growth in Bangladesh. 🌍✨
