Say hello to 🎓🦷 A recent dentistry grad from Doctor of Dental Surgery and current intern, Aya has made waves throughout her journey in the field. From earning a special honors medal from the University Rector at graduation 🏅 to leading as Class Representative and Chair of Dentistry on the Student Council, she’s done it all!

Aya has served as Vice-President of the Dental Student Association , Co-Founder and Chairwoman of the Dental Specialties Student Organization , and hosted the first student-led conference for both Polish and English-speaking students in Poland! 🇵🇱🌍 An active researcher, she’s published numerous research papers 📚, won first place in multiple research conferences 🏆, and co-founded two research groups: the Dental Surgery Research Group .dental.surgery and the Restorative Dentistry & Endodontics Research Group .restorative.endo . Additionally, she was an active member of the Maxillofacial Research Group and co-founded the PUMS Student Surgical Society , where she served as president.

Now, Aya is diving into hands-on experience at Poznan’s renowned WSPL clinic, working across both public and private sectors. 🏥

Meet Patryk Ostrowski! 🩺 .med

Patryk is a fifth-year medical student at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland. He’s passionate about anatomy and surgery, and his research journey started early in his medical studies. Since then, he’s co-authored over 60 publications in renowned journals and presented at international conferences.

Currently, Patryk is actively involved in research and is working towards his dream of becoming a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He’s also the co-founder of Youthoria, a foundation supporting young medical professionals in research.
