Industrial Visit to Soteks Label Technologies Bangladesh Ltd.
As part of the Operations Management (0413-222) course, students from the Department of Business Administration, R. P. Shaha University, visited Soteks Label Technologies Bangladesh Ltd. on 3 May 2025 (Sunday) under the supervision of Professor Dr. Gopal Chandra Saha, Dean, School of Business. This visit was accompanied by the Professor Dr. Kingkar Prosad Ghosh, Dean, School of Engineering, and Aditi Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, RPSU as well.

Students gained practical exposure to key stages of label manufacturing, including design, printing, quality control, and packaging, along with insights into lean manufacturing and quality assurance practices.

Additionally, Mr. Gazi Shafiqul Islam (MBA, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune & BE, Savitribai Phule Pune University), Country Manager of Soteks Label Technologies Bangladesh Ltd., conducted an engaging session on RFID technology, color systems, ERP, and the future prospects of the labeling industry.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world industry experience.

The School of Business, R. P. Shaha University, was pleased to host Mr. Pranob Kumar Sarker, Regulatory Reporting Officer at a Multinational Commercial Bank, as a Visiting Faculty Member for Spring 2026.

As a Certified Expert in Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime, he conducted a session on “Anti-Money Laundering & Financial Crime” under Financial Markets and Institutions (0412-4-311), offering valuable practical insights.

We sincerely appreciate Mr. Sarker for his contribution and look forward to more such collaborations.
