The foundation was inspired by the desire to give back to the community and create a lasting impact on the lives of disadvantaged children. Mahedi Hasan, our Lifetime Chairman, envisioned a society where no child is left behind, and founded Melandah Foundation with a commitment to ensuring that every child receives comprehensive support, from education to employment. Our Goals:
We focus on creating safe spaces for children, offering them holistic care and a supportive community. Through our orphanages, educational programs, and healthcare initiatives, we aim to give every child a foundation for a brighter future. মেলান্দহ ফাউন্ডেশন একটি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী ও আন্তর্জাতিক সংগঠন, যার মূল লক্ষ্য শিশুদের শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য এবং সার্বিক উন্নয়নে কাজ করা। আমাদের প্রধান উদ্দেশ্য হলো অনাথ শিশুদের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ আশ্রয় তৈরি করা, যেখানে তারা শুধু আশ্রয়ই পাবে না, বরং শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্যসেবা এবং ভবিষ্যতে একটি চাকরি পাওয়ার মতো সম্পূর্ণ সাপোর্ট পাবে।
ফাউন্ডেশনটি শিশুদের জন্য একটি সম্পূর্ণ নাগরিক সুবিধাযুক্ত এরিয়া তৈরি করার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করছে। এই এরিয়ার মধ্যে থাকবে একটি স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ কমিউনিটি, যেখানে স্কুল, হাসপাতাল, খাবার রেস্টুরেন্ট, পোশাক সরবরাহ কেন্দ্র, এবং নিরাপদ থাকার সুব্যবস্থা থাকবে। এভাবে, প্রতিটি অনাথ শিশু তার জীবনযাপনের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় সব সুযোগ-সুবিধা একই স্থানে পাবে। আমাদের লক্ষ্য হলো তাদের শৈশব থেকে কর্মজীবনে প্রবেশ পর্যন্ত সব ধরনের সেবা নিশ্চিত করা।
মেলান্দহ ফাউন্ডেশন লভ্যাংশ ভিত্তিক ব্যবসায়িক কার্যক্রমের মাধ্যমে অর্থায়ন করবে, যার মুনাফা ফাউন্ডেশনের মূল কার্যক্রম পরিচালনার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হবে। আমাদের প্রতিষ্ঠানটি বাংলাদেশ এবং যুক্তরাজ্য উভয় দেশেই নিবন্ধিত হবে এবং আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে শিশুদের কল্যাণে কাজ করবে।
আমাদের কাজের ভিত্তি গঠিত হয়েছে বাংলাদেশ সংবিধানের অনুচ্ছেদ ১৫ এর আলোকে, যেখানে সামাজিক সুরক্ষা ও শিশুদের মৌলিক অধিকার সুনিশ্চিত করার প্রতিশ্রুতি দেওয়া হয়েছে।
আমাদের লক্ষ্য:
১. শিশুদের নিরাপদ আশ্রয় ও সমৃদ্ধ ভবিষ্যৎ নিশ্চিত করা
২. শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য এবং কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ সৃষ্টি করা
৩. নাগরিক সুবিধা সহ একটি সম্পূর্ণ কমিউনিটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করা, যেখানে শিশুদের সব ধরনের প্রয়োজনীয় সেবা নিশ্চিত করা হবে
৪. বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটি উপজেলায় একটি অনাথালয় স্থাপন করা
৫. আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে শিশু অধিকার এবং উন্নয়নে কাজ করা
৬. পরিবেশ সংরক্ষণ ও পরিবেশগত সচেতনতা তৈরি।
৭. দুর্যোগকালীন ও আপৎকালীন সময়ে সহায়তা প্রদান।
