বাচ্চার হাম হয়েছে? দ্রুত সুস্থ করতে এই ৫টি কাজ আজই করুন!

বাচ্চার হাম বা Measles ধরা পড়েছে? ভয় পেয়ে ভুল ট্রিটমেন্ট বা কুসংস্কারে কান না দিয়ে, বাচ্চাকে দ্রুত সুস্থ করতে ঘরে বসেই এই ৫টি কাজ আজই শুরু করুন!

১. ভিটামিন এ (Vitamin A) ম্যাজিক: হামের সময় বাচ্চার শরীরে ভিটামিন 'এ'-এর মারাত্মক ঘাটতি হয়, যা থেকে অন্ধত্বের মতো বিপদ হতে পারে। তাই ডাক্তার দেখিয়ে দ্রুত সঠিক ডোজের ভিটামিন 'এ' ক্যাপসুল বা ড্রপ নিশ্চিত করুন।

২. তরল ও হাইড্রেশন: প্রচণ্ড জ্বরে বাচ্চার শরীর খুব দ্রুত শুকিয়ে যায়। তাই বুকের দুধ, ডাবের পানি, ওরস্যালাইন বা বাসায় বানানো ফলের রস বারবার খাওয়াতে থাকুন, যাতে কোনোভাবেই ডিহাইড্রেশন না হয়।

৩. চোখের বিশেষ যত্ন: হামের কারণে বাচ্চার চোখ আলোর প্রতি খুব সেনসিটিভ হয়ে যায় এবং চোখ দিয়ে পানি পড়ে। ঘরের আলো একটু কমিয়ে রাখুন এবং পরিষ্কার সুতির কাপড় কুসুম গরম পানিতে ভিজিয়ে আলতো করে চোখ মুছে দিন।

৪. গোসল ও পরিচ্ছন্নতার মিথ: "হাম হলে গোসল করানো যাবে না"—এটি একটি ভয়ংকর মিথ। জ্বর কমাতে এবং র‍্যাশের চুলকানি থেকে আরাম দিতে বাচ্চাকে কুসুম গরম পানিতে স্পঞ্জ বাথ করান বা নরম কাপড় দিয়ে গা মুছিয়ে দিন।

৫. সম্পূর্ণ বিশ্রাম ও আইসোলেশন: হাম মারাত্মক ছোঁয়াচে একটি রোগ। তাই অন্য বাচ্চাদের থেকে তাকে একদম আলাদা রাখুন। এই সময়টাতে বাচ্চার শরীরের রিকভারির জন্য প্রচুর এনার্জি দরকার হয়, তাই তাকে সম্পূর্ণ বিশ্রামে রাখুন।

হাম একটি অত্যন্ত সংক্রামক ভাইরাসজনিত রোগ, যা বিশেষ করে শিশুদের জন্য মারাত্মক ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ হতে পারে। সচেতনতা ও সময়মতো ব্যবস্থা নিলেই এই রোগ থেকে রক্ষা পাওয়া সম্ভব।

⚠️ হামের প্রধান লক্ষণসমূহ:
🔹 হঠাৎ জ্বর (১০৩–১০৫°F পর্যন্ত)
🔹 কাশি, সর্দি ও চোখ লাল হওয়া
🔹 চোখে আলো সহ্য না হওয়া
🔹 মুখের ভেতরে সাদা দানা (Koplik spots)
🔹 ৩–৪ দিনের মধ্যে মুখ থেকে শুরু করে সারা শরীরে লাল ফুসকুড়ি ছড়িয়ে পড়া

• হামের ভয়াবহতা:

- নিউমোনিয়া
- ডায়রিয়া ও পানিশূন্যতা
- কানে সংক্রমণ ও স্থায়ী বধিরতা
- মস্তিষ্কে প্রদাহ (Encephalitis)
- শিশু ও অপুষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের ক্ষেত্রে মৃত্যুঝুঁকি

• করণীয় ও প্রতিরোধ:

- শিশুকে সময়মতো হাম টিকা (MR/MMR) প্রদান করুন
- আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিকে আলাদা রাখুন
- জ্বর হলে দ্রুত চিকিৎসকের শরণাপন্ন হোন
- পর্যাপ্ত তরল খাবার ও বিশ্রাম নিশ্চিত করুন
- কাশি বা হাঁচির সময় মুখ ঢাকুন
- স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলুন

Today, Monday, 30 March, a monthly general meeting was held at the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Moulvibazar Unit. The meeting was chaired by Youth Chief Emu Chowdhury . Also present were former Youth Chief Shohag Rana , Deputy Youth Chief–1 Md. Imran Hussain and Deputy Youth Chief–2 Rahima Akther Tahin,

During the meeting, plans were made to further strengthen co-educational activities and to explore ways to make the volunteers more active. Additionally, future activities, including preparations for World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, were discussed.

Silver Jubilee of the Department of Accounting, Moulvibazar Government College

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary (Silver Jubilee) of the Department of Accounting of Moulvibazar Government College, day-long cultural programs were held on the college campus. Many distinguished personalities from Moulvibazar district were present at the event. One of the main attractions of the cultural program was the Lalon Band.

Youth members of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Moulvibazar Unit, actively played a role in maintaining discipline throughout the program.

Tribute to the Martyrs on the Great Independence Day and First Aid Team at Saifur Rahman Stadium.

On the occasion of the Great Independence Day, a program was organized to pay deep respect to the heroic martyrs of 1971 by laying wreaths at the memorial. During this time, the youth members performed duties to maintain discipline. Later, they were assigned to provide first aid services during the parade at Saifur Rahman Stadium.

মহান স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে ১৯৭১ সালের বীর শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদনের লক্ষ্যে স্মৃতিস্তম্ভে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করা হয়। এ উপলক্ষে যথাযোগ্য মর্যাদা ও ভাবগাম্ভীর্যের মধ্য দিয়ে বীর শহীদদের প্রতি বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি প্রদান করা হয়।

উক্ত কর্মসূচিতে বাংলাদেশ রেড ক্রিসেন্ট সোসাইটি, মৌলভীবাজার ইউনিটের পক্ষ থেকে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণের মাধ্যমে শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করা হয়। পাশাপাশি অনুষ্ঠানটির সার্বিক শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখতে ইউনিটের স্বেচ্ছাসেবকগণ দায়িত্বশীল ভূমিকা পালন করেন।

স্বাধীনতার এই মহান দিনে বীর শহীদদের আত্মত্যাগ গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করা হয় এবং তাদের আদর্শে উদ্বুদ্ধ হয়ে মানবসেবায় নিয়োজিত থাকার প্রত্যয় ব্যক্ত করা হয়।
