ইসলামে, এতিমদের যত্ন নেওয়া একটি অত্যন্ত পুণ্যময়, মহৎ এবং অত্যন্ত পুরষ্কৃত কাজ। নবী মুহাম্মদ (ﷺ) প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলেন, “যে ব্যক্তি এতিমদের যত্ন নেবে সে এবং আমি জান্নাতে এভাবে একসাথে থাকব,” ঘনিষ্ঠতা বোঝাতে তাঁর দুটি আঙুল একসাথে ধরেছিলেন। দয়া, আর্থিক সহায়তা এবং তাদের অধিকার রক্ষার উপর জোর দেওয়া হয়েছে।
In Islam, caring for orphans is a highly virtuous, noble, and deeply rewarded act. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) promised, "The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this," holding his two fingers together to illustrate closeness. Kindness, financial support, and protection of their rights are emphasized.
