On October 11, 2026, the PAPRI Skill Development Centre proudly inaugurated a 21-day "Basic Dress Making Training" program in collaboration with the Department of Youth Development.
​The Honorable Deputy Director of the Chuadanga District Department of Youth Development attended the event as the chief guest, formally launching the program. The Upazila Youth Development Officer and PAPRI's Executive Director joined as special guests, alongside the centre's instructors and 30 enthusiastic trainees.

​This 21-day program is a vital milestone in empowering our youth to become self-reliant. By organizing practical training initiatives like this across the country, we can help young people build a prosperous Bangladesh through skill and self-reliance.

আজ ১১ অক্টোবর ২০২৬ তারিখে আমাদের পাপড়ী দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন কেন্দ্রে যুব উন্নয়ন অধিদপ্তরের আয়োজনে ২১ দিন ব্যাপী "মৌলিক পোশাক তৈরি প্রশিক্ষণ"-এর উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজিত হয়। অনুষ্ঠানটিতে চুয়াডাঙ্গা জেলা যুব উন্নয়ন অধিদপ্তরের মাননীয় উপ-পরিচালক মহোদয় প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত থেকে কর্মসূচির শুভ উদ্বোধন ঘোষণা করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপজেলা যুব উন্নয়ন কর্মকর্তা এবং পাপড়ী-এর নির্বাহী পরিচালক। এছাড়াও কেন্দ্রের প্রশিক্ষকবৃন্দ এবং ৩০ জন যুব প্রশিক্ষণার্থী অনুষ্ঠানে অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ২১ দিনের মৌলিক পোশাক তৈরি প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসূচিটি যুবসমাজকে স্বাবলম্বী করার ক্ষেত্রে এক উজ্জ্বল মাইলফলক। এ ধরনের ফলপ্রসূ ও বাস্তবমুখী প্রশিক্ষণ কার্যক্রম দেশের প্রতিটি অঞ্চলে নিয়মিত ও বড় পরিসরে আয়োজিত হলে যুবসমাজ দেশের অর্থনীতিতে উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান রাখতে সক্ষম হবে। দক্ষ ও আত্মনির্ভরশীল যুবসমাজ গঠনের মাধ্যমেই অর্জিত হবে একটি সমৃদ্ধ বাংলাদেশ।

On the occasion of World Su***de Prevention Day 2026, PAPRI Youth Change-makers successfully hosted an online speaker session titled "Voices of Hope: Empowering Youth for Su***de Prevention.

The session marked a great response, with more than 100 students from different universities registering for the event. We extend our sincere gratitude to the guest speakers for their insightful words, to all the registered participants, and to the team members of PAPRI Youth Change-makers for successfully conducting the event.
