Announcing Habiba Jahan Bithi as Executive Director of SEECTO Bangladesh 🌱
SEECTO Bangladesh is thrilled to welcome Habiba Jahan Bithi as our new Executive Director, A dedicated sociologist, researcher, and climate & gender justice advocate, Bithi brings a wealth of experience in transboundary river issues, gender inequality, and environmental sustainability.
With an MSS in Sociology from HSTU, she has worked with Friendship, SAIST, and ESRI, contributing to critical research on water pollution, marginalized communities, and gender inequality. As Research Coordinator at SEECTO, she played a key role in shaping our evidence-based advocacy, policy dialogues, and grassroots initiatives.
Bithi’s expertise in social research, data analysis, and policy evaluation—alongside her commitment to climate justice and gender equity—aligns perfectly with SEECTO’s mission. We are excited for her leadership in driving inclusive, impactful, and sustainable change!
