Khulna Music Magazine is an underground band music promoter as well as a event planner & organizer.
We started the journey in 2013. Our target is to uplift the underground band music scene of Khulna. Any good industry's prosperity depends on reliable platforms, and Southern Bangla has been missing a reliable platform for underground bands since our liberation war. Khulna Music Magazine focuses on long term prosperity of underground music scene. Our higher personnel are from different underground bands. United together to ensure a better underground band music scene in Khulna. The main intention is to give our underground bands a deserving platform. Our scene is rebuilding after the dark era that our senior bands faced and which was the reason of the band music scene not being active. After years and years, struggling bands from this generation are now again reunited to uplift the scene. If the local show-business is not uplifted, technically local bands cannot rise as they are seeking for reliable platform which is not available. No individual nor any organizers are offering such platform for our bands to show-off their talent and go any far with what they do. Bands from Khulna are not well recognized among band music fans of our country, which is why Khulna Music Magazine came up with the plan of arranging Winter Fest and Khulna Open Air every year.
We successfully arranged Winter Fest 2019 on 25th of October and this concert was the first of its kind. We had Bloodcell, Wave, Heaven Disillusion, Necromancers, Dark Devourer and from Dhaka PIN CODE performed on the stage Khulna Music Magazine offered in 2019. It was a breakthrough for the community. The hype is already created. Winter Fest is a concert series which is to be arranged every year when the winter comes!!
Our band’s musicians are underdogs with quality. We cannot back off unless we are done uplifting the scene altogether.
