Our Story
It is a social & a not-for-profit motivated organization.We are not involved with any kind of political organization in our country. We are working to build awareness among local people. Basically we are the inhabitants of an undeveloped area & we clearly know that we are deprived of various kind of facilities. Whereas the whole world is trying to go ahead, our huge amount of local people is getting involved in various types of bad works. Such as illicit & illogical works, drug addiction, eve teasing, unconcern on education, dowry system, eager to earn money from illegal sources etc. Though we all are concerned about these matters, maximum educated people are callous to this fact. So Ekoj is trying heard to come out from this type of situation & Ekoj works for needy people who don't get proper treatment for lack of necessary money, the student who are not capable of paying fees & purchasing their necessary books & EKOJ works on tree plantation, blood donation, creating habits of reading books & Ekoj celebrates national & international days & arranges KOBITA PATHER ASOR (Recitation), Book fair, Debate program & so on. It does all these programs in order to create awareness& social commitment among the people of all strata of life so that they can be able to come out from this rotten & superstitious out look& the new generation can be brought-up under our own traditions , culture & the real sense of freedom fighter.
