গাজীপুর জেলাকে একটি আদর্শ জেলা হিসেবে গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে কাজ করছে ‘গাজীপুর নাগরিক কমিটি। ১৯৯৬ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠার পর বিচ্ছিন্নভাবে এবং বিভিন্ন উপলক্ষ্যকে কেন্দ্র করে এ সংগঠনের কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হতো। সুষ্ঠু সমাজ ব্যাবস্থার ক্রমবর্ধমান উৎকর্ষতার নিরীখে প্রশাসনিক অসঙ্গতি পরিলক্ষিত হওয়ায় মৌলিক ও নাগরি
