A proposal to form an Alumni Association of Mikshimil Rudaghara High School (MRHS) was made by a former student, Salam Azad in a private Facebook (FB) Group Page on November 8, 2020. Many former students of Mikshimil Rudaghara High School (MRHS) had agreed to the proposal and joined the FB Group named, “Former Students of Mikshimi
l Rudaghara High School”. The association stated herein will be termed as “Mikshimil Rudaghra High School Alumni Association”, in short “MIRUHSAA”. MIRUHSAA will be conducted following the guidelines of the constitution. MIRUHSAA shall be a non profit, non-political, non-religious organization, and shall be solely based on diversity and inclusion. Our mission is to make connections and transform lives of future generations. Our
vision is to inspire and engage the alumni to be a part of the success story of MRHS. The purpose and objectives of the MIRUHSAA are:
1) Engaging in social bridge and interpersonal cooperation among the former students of MRHS
2) Building, maintaining, and enhancing the relationship between the Alumni and MRHS.
3) Engaging with MRHS in any matters that would benefit the current and future students of MRHS.
4) Recognizing outstanding Alumni and any outstanding contributors to MRHS
5) Developing and sponsoring events for Alumni that allow them to contribute to MRHS’s strategic goals and to engage with MRHS students and Alumni.
6) Building a culture of philanthropy and encouraging service to MRHS and the nation.
7) Promoting the growth, progress, and general welfare of MRHS.
8) Fostering a spirit of loyalty, inclusion and diversity through involvement and lifelong commitment to MRHS. MIRUHSAA shall not organize or participate in the following activities. However, this list of activities can be expanded, but can’t be curtailed, as approved by the advisory committee.
1) Any recognized or un-recognized religious activities
2) Any recognized or un-recognized political activities
3) Any recognized or un-recognized national activities. However, MIRUHSAA should play a positive role at time of natural disasters to help the victims. In such situations, preference must be given to the residents of Rudaghara Union and then the residents of DumuriaUpozila. MIRUHSAA shall organize and / or participate in the following activities. However, this list of activities can be expanded, as approved by the advisory committee.
1) Organize seminars / webinars / lecture series that benefit MIRUHSAA and the students of MRHS. However, MIRUHSAA can’t pay any speakers for such an event.
2) Organize annual get-together / sports / educational events that benefit MIRUHSAA and the students of MRHS. However, MIRUHSAA can’t pay any performers for such an event.
3) Offer potential student scholarships (for orphan /poor /needy /under-privileged /etc.)
4) Develop mentoring relationships with the students and conduct a mentoring program.
5) Support academic or infrastructure development that benefit the students of MRHS.
6) Publish newsletter or magazines (online or paper copy).
7) Support / organize technical training (computer related or any technical task, etc.).
8) Support extra-curricular activities (sports, debate, public speaking, etc.).
9) Host any scholarship / stipend fund from any person in a specific name of his/her choice. In such cases, MIRUHSAA shall consider the intent of the funder. Any support services provided by MIRUHSAA as outlined above shall be allocated
according to the following priority basis:
1) Present and former students of MRHS.
2) Family members, relatives of MIRUHSAA members
3) Residents of Rudaghara Union
4) Residents of Dumuria Upozila.
5) Residents of Khulna and Jessore Districts.
6) Rest of the Country.
