বিবরণ: উত্তর টাংগাইলের একটি সুপ্রাচীন ঐতিহ্যবাহী প্রসিদ্ধ জনপদ ধনবাড়ী। এ অঞ্চলের জনগণ বরাবরই সুশিক্ষার প্রসার ও সুস্থ সাংস্কৃতিক চর্চা করে আসছে। এছাড়াও যেকোন সংস্কারমূলক কাজেও অতীতে এলাকাবাসীকে সহযোগিতার হাত বাড়াতে দেখা গেছে। উদাহরণস্বরুপ এখানকার কৃতি সন্তান বাংলা ভাষার প্রথম প্রস্কাবক প্রয়াত নবাব স
ৈয়দ নওয়াব আলী চৌধুরীর কথা বলা যায় যিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রতিষ্ঠাকালে(১৯২১) জমীদারীর একাংশ বন্ধক রেখে ৩৫ হাজার টাকা ও পরের বছর ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের বৃত্তি বাবদ ১৬ হাজার টাকার তহবিল প্রদান করেন এবং মোট ৩৮ টি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান নির্মাণ করেন। সুদীর্ঘ ইতিহাসের ধারাবাহিকতায় শিক্ষার্থীদের মেধা বিকাশের পাশাপাশি তাদেরকে সমাজসেবামূলক ও সাংস্কৃতিক কর্মকান্ডে উদ্বুদ্ধ করার প্রয়াসে ২০০৬ সালের ৩১ ডিসেম্বর Dhanbari Youth Club এর যাত্রা শুরু। ধনবাড়ী ইয়ূথ ক্লাব(Dhanbari Youth Club)এর মূলমত্র হলো “আমাদের প্রয়াস - মেধা ও সংস্কৃতির বিকাশ”
উদ্দেশ্য: শিক্ষা প্রক্রিয়ার সমান্তরালে শিক্ষাথী ও যুব সমাজের মধ্যে যে সুপ্ত সাংস্কৃতিক প্রতিভা রয়েছে তার সুষ্ঠু প্রয়োগে সমাজের কল্যাণমূলক কর্মকান্ডে অংশগ্রহণ করা যাতে মেধা ও মননে তারা আগামী দিনের যোগ্য নাগরিক হিসেবে সামনের দিকে এগিয়ে যেতে পারে।
কর্মপরিকল্পনা: ১.দরিদ্র ও মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের বার্ষিক শিক্ষাবৃত্তি প্রদান ২.কৃতি ছাত্রদের সংবর্ধণা প্রদান ৩.Talent Search (সাধারণ জ্ঞাণ প্রতিযোগিতা) ও চিত্রাঙ্কন প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন ৪.সবার জন্য বিনামূল্যে পত্রিকা পড়ার ব্যাবস্থা করা ৫.বিভিন্ন ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতার আয়োজন ৬.জাতীয় দিবসসমূহ উদযাপন ৭. নাটক মঞ্চায়ন ৮.সাহিত্য সাময়িকী ” আমাদের কথা” প্রকাশ ৯.শীত বস্ত্র বিতরণ ও গুণীজন সংবর্ধণা ১০.বৃক্ষরোপন সপ্তাহ পালন ও জাতীয় স্বার্থে গণসচেতনতা সৃষ্টি ১১.ধনবাড়ী ডিবেটিং সোসাইটি ১২.ধনবাড়ী ফিল্ম সোসািটি ১৩.আপন,স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদাতাদের সংগঠন
About Us
Dhanbari is an old traditional and famous locality of northern Tangail. Besides these, people of this region have extended their hands of cooperation in any works of reformation. For example a successful figure of this area late Nabab Syed Nawab Ali Chowdhury who first of all proposed Bangla to be mentioned that he leased some of his lands and donated TK. 35,000/- during the foundation of Dhaka University in1921 and next year he gave fund of TK. 16,000/- as stipend and he established 38 educational institutions. Though the time of history besides the enlightenment of merit to encourage in cultural activities, Dhanbari Youth Club started its journey on 31st December 2006. The slogan of Youth Club is “To enlighten merit and culture is our motto”. Our Aims
In the parallel of educational advancement, to apply the latent cultural talent of the students and young generation successfully and by participating in the activities of social welfare that they can go forward as the capable citizens in future time. Logo of the Organization

To give education stipend to the poor and meritorious students. To arrange talent Search (General knowledge competition) and art competition. To provide newspaper stand in rural area encouraging social awareness. To arrange different sports competition. To celebrate national days of Bangladesh. To publish yearly literary magazine “Amader Kotha”. To Distribute winter clothes. To honor scholar people. To arrange annual reconciliation and cultural program.
