Improving English Teaching (IET) recently conducted a comprehensive field visit to two partner schools in Netrokona, laying the groundwork for sustainable English-learning opportunities. The visit engaged English teachers as well as local Reading Mentors and the key activities included:
• Two Teachers’ Workshops
• One Volunteers’/Reading Mentors’ Workshop
• Establishment of a digital monitoring and evaluation framework for the Reading Program
• Establishment of IET English Clubs and libraries at both schools
• Distribution of English storybooks
• Two classroom observations to assess teachers’ needs and inform upcoming training opportunities
Through these initiatives, IET continues to ensure joyful, structured, and sustainable English learning for all.

The Teachers' Training Program has successfully concluded a two-day training on "Science Project Preparation" from 31st July-1st August 2026, bringing together 14 teachers from 14 Agami-supported schools.

During the training, participants explored inquiry-based science teaching approaches, including the Investigation Method, 5E Model, and POE Model. On the second day, they collaboratively designed four science projects and presented live demonstrations, applying their learning in practice.

Together, we continue to empower teachers to make science learning more engaging, hands-on, and meaningful for every student.

Agami Education Foundation (AEF) is pleased to invite project proposals under its School Program (SP). Through this initiative, AEF provides grants to eligible schools to improve access to quality education for underprivileged children in Bangladesh.

Reading Session at The Lyceum Child School, Netrokona & Shishu Shikkha Primary School Saluakanda, Durgapur ,Netrokona
The students were genuinely excited to explore new books, listen to stories, and actively participate in the reading session. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and eagerness to share their thoughts made the session truly engaging and enjoyable. These reading sessions go beyond storytelling they nurture imagination, encourage critical thinking and communication.

SC Johnson, A Family Company Visits Shapla Shaluk Pathshala. We were delighted to welcome representatives from SC Johnson to Shapla Shaluk Pathshala, one of Agami Education Foundation supported schools, on 4 July 2026.
Students warmly welcomed the guests with flowers, presented their handmade artwork, and delighted everyone with a cultural performance. During the visit, the guests encouraged students to study hard, dream big, and pursue their aspirations, emphasizing the life-changing power of education.
The visit also celebrated the launch of the partnership between Agami Education Foundation (AEF) and SC Johnson. Through a generous contribution, SC Johnson is supporting six Agami-sponsored schools, helping more underprivileged children access quality education.
We sincerely thank SC Johnson for its trust and commitment to empowering children through education.
