Engaging youth in environmental protection not only creates direct impact on changing youth behaviors and attitudes, but possibly influence their parents, relatives and families. Youth are back bone of the nation. They can change the future of the society with their well being and courageous behavior.The environment is simply defined as our surrounding, including both living and non-living things. Environmental protection is a broad subject. Environmental problems are rising day by day. There is a global concern among youth about problems like global warming and climate change but few of them are seen in action when it comes to handle local and national environmental problems. Protecting the environment does not need much effort. All it needs is the willingness and caring attitude. A small change in our lifestyle can make a big impact. That’s why Leading Green aims to work with the youth to solve the environmental problems. Our Objectives:.
* Promote environmental education and create interest among young generation to work for the betterment of the environment.
* Work in natural resource, agriculture, biodiversity conservation, disasters management, pollution control and others field of environment.
* Campaign for pre-disaster, and post-disaster preparation. Training and workshop will be provided among mass people in highly vulnerable area.
* Promoting more and more research work in environment sector. Field based research opportunity for our members. Also have the opportunity to work with INTERNATIONAL organizations specialized in this sector, which will be a greater advantage for young people, young professional, and students.
* Encourage students to choose environment in higher education, and build up more green leaders from them.
