To take up, consider and discuss issues of national and international importance affecting the Industry. To communicate with Industrial Associations, Chambers of Commerce and other commercial, industrial or public bodies, within and outside Bangladesh and to concentrate on promotional measures for protection of business and commercial activities of the Industry. To give high priority to activities designed to bring about improvement in the performance of Industry such as Energy Conservation, R&D, Export, Technology Transfer and Development, Human Resources Development, Quality, Productivity etc.

InterContinental Dhaka, the iconic luxury hotel by IHG, invites food connoisseurs to experience the rich flavours of winter with its Winter Kebab Festival, taking place from 22 to 31 January 2026 at Elements Global Dining Restaurant.

The festival was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong (Ambassador of Vietnam), Mr. Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan (Managing Director of Bangladesh Services Ltd. and Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism), Mr. Byjed Al Hassan (Managing Director & CEO, Probashir Helicopter), Mr. David O’Hanlon, (General Manager, InterContinental Dhaka), Mr. Olivier Loreaux (Director of Food & Beverage, InterContinental Dhaka) and hotel officials.

Winter is the perfect season to celebrate indulgent grills and timeless culinary traditions. Curated by the hotel’s expert culinary team, the festival showcases an exceptional selection of authentic kebabs crafted with premium ingredients and traditional techniques. The elaborate spread features an array of popular chicken kebabs, including Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Reshmi, Mughlai, Hariyali, Afghani, Chicken Tikka, Tengri, and Peshawari kebabs, alongside beef specialities such as Beef Seekh, Chapli, Kofta, Adana, and Kubaidi kebabs. InterContinental Dhaka, the iconic luxury hotel by IHG, has strengthened its commitment to environmental stewardship by becoming the first hotel in Bangladesh to introduce an AI-powered Glass Bottle Water Plant producing Zero Mile Artisanal Water—setting a significant new benchmark in sustainable hospitality.
