This well-earned achievement reflects his dedication to academic excellence, passion for teaching, and unwavering commitment to shaping the next generation of learners. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Surid has also been a constant source of encouragement and support for the NSU Business Analytics Club, generously contributing behind the scenes to help the club grow and thrive. In a world where information moves faster than ever, the ability to think critically, verify facts, and make informed decisions has become an essential skill.

The 𝗡𝗦𝗨 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 was honored to serve as the volunteer partner for the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, hosted by the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, on 𝟭𝟭 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 under the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵-𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 initiative of the 𝗨𝗡 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗧 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.

Organized in collaboration with the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗨𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗮, and the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 (𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗡𝗲𝘁𝗕𝗗), the workshop brought together students from diverse academic disciplines for an engaging and interactive learning experience focused on media literacy, critical thinking, and responsible digital citizenship.

The session was facilitated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝘇𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝗳𝘀𝗶𝗿𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺, Senior Lecturer of Strategy and Human Resources at the School of Business and Economics, North South University. Participants also had the privilege of learning from distinguished resource persons, including 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗺, President of MILNetBD and Chairperson of the Department of Information Studies, East West University; 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗮𝗵𝗶, General Secretary of MILNetBD and Senior Lecturer at East West University; and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗸 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗵𝗮𝗻, Lecturer at East West University.

Through insightful discussions, collaborative activities, and practical exercises, participants explored how to identify credible information, navigate digital platforms responsibly, and develop the analytical mindset needed to make informed decisions in an increasingly connected world.

As the volunteer partner for this initiative, the NSU Business Analytics Club was proud to contribute behind the scenes, helping create a seamless experience while supporting a platform that encourages informed leadership and lifelong learning.

Alif has been named the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 - a high-impact platform that places him at the intersection of digital transformation, student empowerment, and corporate synergy. As we celebrate Eid al-Aḍḥā, we are reminded that the true essence of sacrifice lies not merely in the outward act itself, but in the sincerity, devotion, and taqwā within our hearts, beautifully exemplified through the story of Prophet Ibrāhīm (peace be upon him).

This blessed occasion calls upon us to strengthen our faith, embrace compassion, and uphold the values of generosity and gratitude in our daily lives.

May this Eid bring peace, unity, and prosperity to our communities, and inspire us to continue supporting and caring for one another with kindness and empathy.

As we celebrate with our families and loved ones, let us also remember in our duʿās those enduring hardship and uncertainty across the world, especially in Palestine, Arakan, the Uyghur regions, Iran, and other parts of the world facing distress. May Allah grant them strength, protection, and lasting peace.

Empowering future-ready analysts through Python and data-driven learning at NSU!

NSU Business Analytics Club, in collaboration with the Department of Management, successfully organized “Python for Data Analytics in Business 1.0”. The program combined engaging learning sessions with hands-on experience in Python, data analytics, and visualization, equipping participants with practical skills relevant to today’s business environment.

Under the guidance of Dr. Md. Noman Hossain Chowdhury, Associate Professor of MIS in the Department of Management, students explored practical applications of Python in business analytics and data-driven decision-making.

The Closing Ceremony was attended by Honorable Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, along with distinguished faculty members from across the university.

Among them were Prof. Dr. AKM Waresul Karim, Dean, School of Business & Economics; Prof. Dr. Shazzad Hosain, Dean, School of Engineering & Physical Sciences; Prof. Dr. Sharif Nurul Ahkam, Professor, Department of Accounting & Finance and Director, Center for Social Impact and Sustainability (CSIS); Dr. Md. Faisol Chowdhury, Director, BBA Program; and Dr. Ziaul Haq Adnan, Chair, Department of Management.

At the ceremony, the honorable Vice-Chancellor and other distinguished guests shared valuable insights on the growing importance of data analytics, programming, and digital skills in shaping future-ready graduates. The ceremony also featured the distribution of course completion certificates to participants, while facilitators were recognized with crests for their contribution to the program.

International Labour Day serves as a reminder that labor is more than effort; it is dignity, resilience, and the driving force behind every economy and community. It honors the workers whose daily contributions sustain life and enable growth across every sector.

The NSU Business Analytics Club pays tribute to the unwavering dedication of workers whose efforts continue to build and sustain our world. This day stands as a recognition of their resilience, perseverance, and the enduring strength that arises from labor across generations.

This bootcamp is structured to help participants move from basic programming concepts to real-world data handling, analysis, and visualization used in modern organizations.
