Shaheen Cadet Community is a non-profit organization that was established in 2012 in BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, Bangladesh. Initially, it was known as Shaheen Ex-Cadet Association Dhaka (SECAD), which was later changed to Shaheen Cadet Community in 2016 to collaborate with all BAF Shaheen College's ex
-cadets. The organization aims to unite all BNCC Air Wing cadets of BAF Shaheen College and provide a platform for them to work together towards social welfare. Shaheen Cadet Community has seven wings, including BAF Shaheen College Dhaka, BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola, BAF Shaheen College Chattogram, BAF Shaheen College Jashore, BAF Shaheen College Shamshernagar, BAF Shaheen College Bogura, and BAF Shaheen College PaharKanchanPur (PKP). With more than 300 members, the organization has been actively involved in various social activities, such as feeding programs, warm cloth distribution, food distribution during floods, tree plantation, and so on. The community is run entirely by its members' own funds, and it is a completely non-business and non-profit organization. The organization's main goal is to inspire and motivate young people to work towards the betterment of society, to instill a sense of responsibility towards their community, and to foster leadership skills. Shaheen Cadet Community has made significant contributions to society since its inception. They have organized various events and campaigns to raise awareness about social issues and to provide assistance to those in need. For example, the community has organized blood donation camps, free medical camps, and sanitation campaigns. They have also provided financial assistance to underprivileged students to continue their education.
