Celebrating Humanity Through the Power of Youth. 🌸🌷
On International Youth Day, 12th August 2026, the Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Dynamic proudly celebrates the spirit, energy and compassion of young people who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
For this special occasion, enthusiastic and compassionate young men and women travelled to an interior village in Chittagong to bring food and essential supplies to families who had been severely affected by the floods in July 2026. Located in a remote area, these families had unfortunately been overlooked by many relief initiatives, as donor groups were working in different parts of Bangladesh.
Our team set out at 6:30 a.m. today from Chittagong town, changing vehicles twice before reaching Napora village. From there, we walked to a remote area where a church served as our relief camp.
Our aim was to reach people from different ethnic and religious communities, who are often overlooked and have limited access to mainstream relief efforts. We were able to provide support to nearly 100 people from the village and surrounding areas.
A young, energetic and inspiring organisation, Witness Ministry, joined hands with the Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Dynamic to organise a relief drive and reach these families who were stranded and struggling in the aftermath of the floods.
As part of the relief effort, IWC of Dhaka Dynamic provided each family with:
* 4 packets of biscuits
* 4 packets of noodles
* 4 packets of rice saline
* 4 packets of Orsaline
* 1 packet of mosquito coils
* 1 box of matches
* 1 packet of laundry detergent
* 2 bars of dish soap
* 3 bars of bathing soap
* 250 gm water purifier
* 1 food container
These essential items were distributed alongside:
* 5 kg Rice
* 1 kg Cooking Oil
* 1 kg Onion
* 1 kg Salt
* 1 kg Lentils
* 2 kg Potatoes
* 2 kg Wheat Flour
which was generously provided by Witness Ministry Chittagong.
This International Youth Day, we celebrate more than just youth—we celebrate humanity, compassion and the courage to care. The young volunteers demonstrated that age is never a barrier to making a difference. Their enthusiasm, empathy and willingness to serve brought hope to families who needed it most.
Together, we reminded those affected by the floods that they are not forgotten, they are not alone, and they matter.
The Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Dynamic is proud to stand beside our youth and to continue reaching out to people in need—with compassion, dignity and love.
When young hearts unite for humanity, hope finds its way to those who need it most.
This club project “Durjoy” was led by the club treasurer Rachel Bernadette. She was present on the Village with the young men and women to celebrate the International Youth Day. Members of the club along with the President Sahira Anjum, Charter President Sanzida Sharmine, Vice President Bonnie Rahman And Club Secretary Samia Rahman joined the project delivered online from Dhaka to inspire the team al through.💝
