🌸 World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026 🌸

A meaningful and awareness-focused program was successfully organized by faith Bangladesh in collaboration with Brighter Life School, মনের আলো - Moner Alo on the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026. The program was proudly supported by Staysafe.

The event brought together special needs children and their parents in a warm, supportive, and educational environment where important discussions around menstrual hygiene and care were openly shared. The primary goal of the program was to break social stigma, spread awareness, and guide parents and caregivers on how to support children with special needs during puberty and menstruation.

One of the most impactful parts of the event was a short awareness drama performed during the session. The drama beautifully highlighted the emotional, social, and practical challenges faced by special needs children and their families during menstruation, while also delivering strong messages about care, understanding, dignity, and acceptance.

In addition, expert presentations and interactive discussions were conducted on:
🔹 Managing menstrual hygiene for special needs children
🔹 Emotional and behavioral support during menstruation
🔹 Guidance for parents and caregivers
🔹 Importance of awareness, safety, and proper hygiene practices

Parents actively participated in the discussions and shared their experiences, making the program highly engaging and impactful for everyone present.

faith Bangladesh believes that awareness creates acceptance, and every child deserves dignity, care, and proper support. Through programs like this, we continue working towards a more inclusive and informed society.

We sincerely thank Brighter Life School, মনের আলো - Moner Alo, Staysafe, all participating families, volunteers, and supporters for making this initiative successful.

💙 Together, let’s create awareness, remove stigma, and ensure dignity for every child.
