The 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Installation Ceremony of the newly elected Board of Directors (2026–2028) of the Tourism & Hospitality Industry Skills Council (T&HISC) was held on June 17, 2026, at Green Garden Restaurant, Dhaka.

During the ceremony, Mr. Mohiuddin Helal took oath as Chairman, Mr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed as Vice Chairman, and Mr. Shahid Hussain Shamim as Secretary General, along with the other elected Directors of the Council for the 2026–2028 term.

The oath-taking ceremony was administered by Mr. Nurul Gani Sovon, Chairman of the Election Board of T&HISC, Chairman of the Informal Industry Skills Council (ISC), and Former Executive Committee Member of the National Skills Development Authority (NSDA).

The event marked the beginning of a new journey, reaffirming the Council’s commitment to advancing skills development, industry linkages, workforce competitiveness, and sustainable growth within Bangladesh's tourism and hospitality sector.

Today, the Handover and Takeover Ceremony of the Tourism & Hospitality Industry Skills Council (T&H ISC) was successfully held at the T&H ISC Office, Dhaka.

The Board of Directors for the tenure 2024–2026 officially handed over responsibilities to the newly elected Board of Directors for 2026–2028.

Mr. Mohiuddin Helal took charge as Chairman, Mr. Khabir Uddin Ahmed as Vice Chairman, Mr. Shahid Hussain Shamim as Secretary General, and Mr. Messbaul Alam assumed responsibility as Treasurer of T&H ISC.
