The Course:
An intensive training course on ‘VAT Planning and Management’ for Accountants,VAT Managers, VAT Agents, VAT Auditors and VAT consultants on four consecutive Friday, starting fromAugust 30 2019 .
Preamble:
A good understanding of Business Operation Procedure (BOP), Accounting and VAT laws are the prerequisite to manage, supervise, audit and advise on VAT related activities efficiently. Aprofessional Accountant, VATManager, VAT Agent, VAT Auditor and VAT consultant should have strong command over these three segments to discharge her/hisresponsibility competently. Moreover, theVAT Act 2012 and VAT Rules 2016 are paradigm shift from the previous regime. Therefore, the Accountant,VAT Manager, VAT Agent, VAT Auditor and VAT consultant must unlearn and relearn the techniques to induct the changes in BOP efficiently. With 3 decadesof experience in TAX Planning and Management, TAX Teaching and overall financial management, Mr. Abdul Khalek FCA, the Founder and Chief Facilitator of the Academy has designed the course targeting thedevelopment of the participantto become an important player in adding value to the business.
Objectives:
• To facilitate the participants in enhancing their knowledge on Business Operation Procedure (BOP), Accounting and VAT laws and to develop their skills in linking these three efficiently.

The Facilitator for the entire session:
Mr. Abdul Khalek is the Founder and Chief Facilitator of A K Tax Training Academy. On completion of almost four decades of service in Finance, Tax & VAT Planning & Management, Internal Audit, Corporate Governance and Secretarial Functions in leading MNCs and NGOs, Mr. Khalek has established A K Tax Training Academy to disseminate both theoretical and practical knowledge on Tax Planning and Compliance to Corporate Bodies. Mr. Khalek has been teaching Tax Planning and Compliance in leading professional institutes for the last 26 years. He has conducted series of seminars, workshops and classes on VAT and Tax, organized by leading professional institutes and trade bodies of Bangladesh for the last three decades. He served Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. Group for a long 26 years in different capacities out of which as CFOfor 22 years. He has been serving Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce and Industries as a member of Trade, Tariff, Taxation and Company Affairs Sub-committee for the last 20 years and currently holding the position of Convener. He is also an active member of Taxation, Tariff and Company affairs sub-committee of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Bangladesh for the last 10 years. Fees for each Participant:
BDT 19,500 (Net of VAT and TAX) including the cost of lunch, refreshment and training materials.
