Our Story

This is only association in Bangladesh for export of horticultural fresh vegetables, fruits, betel leaf and allied products to the global market. Presently there are more than 500 members are actively involved with the business of fresh fruits and vegetables export to different destination of the world although Bangladesh has started export of horticultural produces since 1973, but BFVAPEA formally established in 1984 for export promotion and diversification. Export of fresh horticultural produces is mostly carried on consignment sale basis under the common platform of BFVAPEA.

বিএফভিএপিইএ এর নেতৃত্বে পাঁচ শতাধিক রপ্তানিকারক সদস্যদের সমন্বয়ে গঠিত কৃষি পণ্য রপ্তানির একমাত্র রপ্তানিকারক প্রতিষ্ঠান। কৃষি সেক্টর দেশের অন্যতম একটি বৃহৎ খাত এবং এ সেক্টরের রপ্তানিকারক বৃন্দ দীর্ঘ ৩৫ বছর যাবত বিশ্বের। বিভিন্ন দেশে যথা এশিয়া, ইউরোপ, মধ্যপ্রাচ্য, কানাডা সহ সারা বিশ্বে অত্যন্ত সুনাম ও সফল ভাবে দেশে উৎপাদিত কৃষিজ পণ্য যথা তাজা শাক-সবজি, ফলমূল, পান, আলু এবং প্রক্রিয়াজাত কৃষিপণ্য রপ্তানি পূর্বক বৈদেশিক মূদ্রা অর্জনের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশের অর্থনীতিতে গুরত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে। অত্র এসোসিয়েশন সারা বিশ্বে কৃশিপণ্য রপ্তানির মাধ্যমে ভিশন-২০২১ বাস্তবায়নে গুরত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করছে। ইতিমধ্যে বাংলাদেশ সরকার ২০১৯ বর্ষকে কৃষিপণ্য বছর হিসেবে ঘোষনা দিয়েছেন। বর্তমানে বিদেশে তাজা শাক-সবজি, ফলমূল, পান ও আলুর প্রচুর চাহিদা রয়েছে এবং উত্তরোত্তর চাহিদা বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।
