A leaking roof. A husband battling lung cancer. A daily struggle no one should face alone.
This hardworking garment worker from Phulbari, Dinajpur carries a weight most of us can't imagine. Her husband's illness has made it nearly impossible for her to support the family on her own — and with her children grown and married, there's been little support from anyone else. She has been fighting this quiet battle alone.

When HMBD Foundation heard her story, we knew we had to stand beside her. Under Project Ghure Darai, through our self-reliance initiative, we provided corrugated tin sheets so she can finally repair her home and live with dignity.

A Partnership for Hope Begins!

HMBD Foundation and 株式会社ゲットイット GET IT Co. Ltd., Japan have officially begun a meaningful partnership for "Boat School" through an MoU to support river erosion-affected communities in Kurigram.

Together, we aim to bring education, digital skills, and opportunity to children and youth living in some of the most isolated char areas, where river erosion continues to disrupt lives and futures.

This is just the beginning.

In Monoharpur, Monirampur, Jashore — a region that remains waterlogged for 6 to 7 months every year — access to basic sanitation has always been a silent struggle, especially for women.
As part of our WASH Activities 2026, HMBD Foundation, in collaboration with Azimur Rokia Rahman Trust, has constructed 3 hygienic latrines specifically designed for marginalized women in this community.
Because this area floods for months at a time, each latrine has been elevated with steps — so that even during the worst of the rainy season, dignity doesn't have to wait for the water to recede.

This Eid, HMBD Foundation distributed Qurbani meat across 10 districts of Bangladesh — reaching 1,875 families and approximately 11,500 people who deserved to share in the joy and blessing of this sacred day.

17 cows, 15 goats, and 1 sheep were offered as Qurbani. The meat reached families in Dinajpur, Gaibandha, Kurigram, Mymensingh, Jashore, Satkhira, Brahmanbaria, Dhaka, Gazipur, and Cox’s Bazar — where both Rohingya families and the host community were included. For thousands of people for whom meat is a rare luxury, this was more than a meal. It was dignity. It was unity. It was the true spirit of Qurbani.

None of this was possible without the incredible generosity of our donors. A heartfelt Jazakallahu Khayran to Amanah Relief, OBAT Helpers, Share 2 Care, Fiaz Farid and Friends, and all the faithful, regular donors of HMBD Foundation who give year after year without hesitation. Alhamdulillah, our qurbani project was successfully completed and we distributed the meat to our dear P@l3stin!an families taking shelter in Cairo, Egypt.

It was a day filled with smiles, gratitude, and relief. Every package reached the war victims from G @ facing difficult circumstances, helping ensure that the blessings and joy of Eid were shared with those who needed them most.

We pray that Allah ﷻ accepts this Udhiya, blesses every donor and volunteer, and brings ease, peace, and barakah to the families we served. 🤍
