Akij-Monowara Trust was established in 2022 in the form of a Non-Government Organization and registered by the Joint Stock Companies & Firms in Bangladesh (Reg. No: S-13940/2022) Our objectives are :
To provide education, health, micro insurance, and access to justice support to the community, engaging in charitable and non-profitable activities. To promote, run, maintain, assist, and finance soc
ial enterprises or other ventures that generate income in collaboration with other persons or entities. To promote and advance charity, welfare, and well-being among communities, regardless of race, religion, origin, sexual orientation, and gender. To engage in the welfare of vulnerable and victimized women, securing and promoting victimized women's rights, anti-dowry, and anti-domestic violence movements and operations. Arranging full-time and part-time learning courses combining traditional and research-based approaches to promote a wide range of training and workshop programs in medical treatment and public health. To provide emergency response, health awareness, hygiene, family planning services, and basic and vocational education/training. To encourage investigation in any field for human wellbeing and development, supporting organizations engaged in setting up and managing accommodation facilities for slum dwellers. To engage in joint programs with organizations, either individually or in association, seeking the goal of relief, rehabilitation, and sustainable development in vulnerable communities through Income Generating Activities (IGA). To encourage good and close relationships and amity among communities and the people of Bangladesh. To collaborate with other national and international institutions and organizations to implement the objects of the Trust.
