On International Labour Day, we recognize the people whose work often goes unseen, yet holds everything together. From fields to factories, from homes to highways, dignity lives in every honest effort.

Work is more than survival.
It is identity. It is contribution. It is pride.

Today is a reminder that dignity at work is not a privilege. It is a right.

Every person deserves dignity.
May the New Year strengthen that belief.

Let us see each other with respect, empathy, and humanity.

Language shapes identity. Language protects dignity.

On International Mother Language Day, we stand for every person’s right to speak, learn, and preserve their mother tongue. Linguistic freedom is not only about words. It is about recognition, belonging, and human dignity.

At Global Dignity Bangladesh, we honor those who stood for this right and reaffirm our commitment to a world where every voice matters.

On this Global Dignity Day, we’re reminded that no matter where we come from, what we believe in, or how we live, our shared humanity unites us.
Let’s look beyond what divides us and stand together in respect, compassion, and understanding.

Because dignity is not given, it is recognized.

This Dignity Month, we shine a light on the values of dignity, respect, and compassion that unite us.

At Global Dignity, we believe these five core dignity principles guide us toward a more just and compassionate world:
1. Every person has the right to pursue purpose and meaning in life, and to reach their full potential.
2. Every person deserves to live in societies that provide humane access to education, health, income, and security.
3. Every person should have their life, identity, and beliefs respected by others.
4. Every person has the responsibility to create the conditions for others to fulfill their potential, acting to strengthen others’ dignity.
5. Dignity in action means standing up against injustice, intolerance, and inequality.

As we approach October 15, let’s carry these principles into our daily lives — in our words, in our choices, and in how we stand for one another.

Global Dignity Bangladesh is proud to join the worldwide community in celebrating two decades of advancing dignity, purpose, and impact. During this year’s Annual Dignity Dinner at the Cornell Club, held alongside , the evening carried special significance as we marked the 20th anniversary of Global Dignity.

As Bangladesh’s Country Chair, Runa Khan was honored to stand with inspiring global leaders and changemakers who continue to shape this movement of dignity across borders.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Akira Tsuchiya, John Osborn, Sandra Wijnberg, Archish Mittal, Marina Leytes, Danielle Willett, Adam Askew, and many others for making this celebration a powerful and memorable gathering.
