We’re proud to share that Thunder Birds Open Air Scout Group was one of them — our name traveled beyond Earth, reaching farther into space than humans have ever gone before! 🌍💫

🚀 Thunder Birds Open Air Scout Group is going around the Moon. 🚀
(Okay… our name is—but it still counts!)

Our group’s name has been submitted to fly aboard Artemis II, the first crewed mission of NASA’s Artemis programme. Four astronauts—Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen—will travel around the Moon and back aboard the Orion, to be launched in 2026.

And the timing couldn’t be better…
This month, our Air Scout and Air Rover will be learning all about space 🚀🌌—rockets, astronauts, the Moon, and what it’s like to live beyond Earth. Inspired by the Artemis mission.
