Alhamdulillah, the soft light of the moon caught the glorious message of Holy Ramadan in the sky. It is not only a month of fasting—it is a great opportunity for self-purification, sacrifice, restraint, patience, and the infinite mercy, forgiveness, and salvation of the Almighty.

Ramadan reminds us of the historic victory of Badr, where a handful of believing warriors defeated the vast army of the oppressive Quraish with the help of Allah. It was the victory of truth against injustice, the sign of God's mercy on the weak!

This Battle of Badr, which was organized in the month of Ramadan 1500 years ago, tells us that fighting against tyranny and fascism, standing by the side of the Muslim, establishing justice and fairness, keeping the flag of justice flying in any situation - these are all the lessons of the month of Ramadan.

Let's keep ourselves busy trying to get closer to Allah through self-purification in Ramadan. I promise, like the mujahid companions of Badr, to be steadfast against injustice and oppression.
