Development Support Services is a non government non profitable non political organization initially established in 1999 and registered from the department of Social service, government of Bangladesh, registration no dha-04606 on 23rd June 1999, to serve the poor and vulnerable people of Bangladesh. its view is to establishing such a society which is ecologically balanced socially and culturally j
ust and sound, healthy democratic and where the poor are economically self reliant and enjoy an equitable and secured environment. Mission of the Organization: People are most important than profits. To make the personal contact to the individual poor, oppressed, landless farmers, destitute woman, vulnerable children, widow, destitute man and women, day laborers, unemployed male and female youth, drug addicts, HIV/AIDS tanagers, street children, and to bring them under the umbrella of small viable groups for their organization and development. Promote the socio-economic condition of the most vulnerable oppressed people way to creating awareness, training and financial support for their self-reliance and empowerment, mainly destitute and disadvantaged vulnerable man women and children are socio-economically empowered. Our mission is to enable innovations to impact the poor through social enterprise. People are most important than profits. What we do:
To alleviate the poverty and empower the rural poor as to improve their livelihood status through undertaking various need based sustainable development programs, income generating activities. We dream of a prosperous rural Bangladesh. We dream of a society that is not poor, a Bangladesh which is literate and empowered.
