MOMODa FOUNDATION MOMODa FOUNDATION is a research-based development organization that aims at creating a society with reduced poverty and inequity.

MOMODa FOUNDATION is a research-oriented development organization working since 2011 to reduce poverty and inequality in both rural and urban Bangladesh. The Foundation focuses on evidence based, community led solutions across key sectors including poverty, health, education, gender and equity, women empowerment, climate change, social safety nets, financial inclusion, WASH, climate resilience, employment creation, and youth empowerment. With a strong commitment to equity and sustainability, MOMODa FOUNDATION identifies local needs through community engagement, conducts rigorous research, and develops targeted interventions to address those challenges. It collaborates with government agencies, academic institutions, and development partners to drive impactful, inclusive change across the country.

𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐚 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝟕-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬

On 21 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION successfully concluded the 7-day Training of District Research Assistants (DRAs) for the project “Situation Analysis of Technology in Education” at the NGO Forum for Public Health, Lalmatia, Dhaka.

The training focused on research objectives, survey methodologies, data collection techniques, ethical research practices, and field implementation guidelines to prepare DRAs for effective study implementation.

The technical sessions were facilitated by Md Enamul Haque, Executive Director; H. M. Masudur Rahman, Senior Research Coordinator; and Nani Halder Ovhik, Research Assistant.

During the training programme, Professor Dr. Mir Zahida Naznin, Director, Planning and Development Wing, and Nahida Parvin, Deputy Director, Research & Innovation Section, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE), attended as distinguished guests and shared valuable insights on the importance of evidence-based research in advancing technology in education.

The training sessions were also joined by Principal Investigator Dr. Tomoki Fujii, Professor, Singapore Management University; Dr. Abu S. Shonchoy, Professor, Florida International University; and Dr. Cristian Ho, Professor, Singapore Management University.

The training was formally concluded by Md. Jasim Uddin, Chairman, and Syeda Bilquis Banu, Member of the Executive Committee of MOMODa FOUNDATION. Prizes were also awarded to the top-scoring participants in recognition of their outstanding performance.

On 15 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION successfully conducted the 1st day of the 7-day Training of District Research Assistants (DRAs) for the project “Situation Analysis of Technology in Education” at the NGO Forum for Public Health, Lalmatia, Dhaka. The training focused on strengthening participants’ understanding of the research objectives, survey methodologies, data collection techniques, ethical research practices, and field implementation guidelines to ensure the successful ex*****on of the study.

The training was inaugurated by Md. Jasim Uddin, Chairman of MOMODa FOUNDATION. The technical sessions were facilitated by Md. Enamul Haque, Executive Director; H. M. Masudur Rahman, Senior Research Coordinator; and Nani Halder Ovhik, Research Assistant, who shared their expertise and practical insights with the participants. The session was further honored by the presence of Md. Abdul Mannan, Assistant Director, Research & Innovation Section, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, who attended as the Distinguished Guest and delivered valuable remarks, emphasizing the importance of evidence-based research in advancing technology in education.

On 15 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION participated in the NGO Monthly Coordination Meeting held at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dhaka. The meeting brought together representatives from various non-governmental organizations to discuss ongoing development initiatives, strengthen coordination, and contribute to collaborative decision-making for the effective implementation of development programs across the district.

Representing MOMODa FOUNDATION, Shadia Chowdhury, Senior Research Assistant, attended the meeting on behalf of the organization. MOMODa FOUNDATION provided gifts to participants of the sessions who achieved the highest scores during the January–April session of the Delaying Early Pregnancy in Gaibandha District in Bangladesh project.

The gifts were presented in recognition of their outstanding performance and active participation throughout the sessions. This initiative aimed to encourage continued learning, inspire participants to stay engaged, and reinforce the project's commitment to promoting knowledge, awareness, and positive behavioral change among adolescents.

Day 03 | DMRT Phase-II Household Survey Training | MOMODa FOUNDATION

Day 3 of the DMRT Phase-II Household Survey Training was marked by the inspiring presence of Prof. Abu S. Shonchoy, the respected Principal Investigator (PI) of the project.

During the session, Prof. Shonchoy shared valuable insights into the project's objectives and implementation, engaged with the trainees by listening to their feedback, and addressed their questions with thoughtful guidance.

He was accompanied by Md Enamul Haque, Executive Director of MOMODa FOUNDATION. Together, they observed the 3rd Kahoot quiz session of the ongoing household survey training. The interactive quiz created an energetic learning environment, and participants demonstrated noticeable improvement in both their performance and confidence.

We are grateful for the continuous guidance and encouragement from our project leadership as we prepare our field team to uphold the highest standards of data quality and professionalism.

On 9 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION successfully concluded the 2-day Training on Quantitative and Qualitative Survey for the project "Implementing Evaluation Research on Demand Generation Effectiveness, Training Effectiveness, Field Adherence, Implementation Fidelity, and Customer Experience for the Reading Glasses for Improved Livelihoods (RGIL) Program in 28 Districts" at the Corporate Office of MOMODa FOUNDATION.

The training equipped field personnel with the knowledge and practical skills required to conduct high-quality quantitative and qualitative surveys. Technical sessions were facilitated by Md. Rahidul Islam, Associate Senior Manager (Research). Geoffrey Njuguna, Global Evaluation and Research Manager of VisionSpring, joined virtually, while Susanta Sarkar Subho and Md. Mohaiminul attended in person. Md. Jasim Uddin, Chairman, and Md. Enamul Haque, Executive Director of MOMODa FOUNDATION, also attended the training.

On 8 July 2026, MOMODa FOUNDATION successfully conducted the 1st day of the 5-day Household Survey Training for the project "Household and Business Surveys to Evaluate the Impact of Dhaka Metro Rail" at the NGO Forum Auditorium, Dhaka.

The training session focused on equipping field personnel with essential knowledge, survey methodologies, data collection techniques, and practical guidelines to ensure effective and high-quality household survey implementation. Through interactive discussions and practical sessions, participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the survey tools, field protocols, and data quality standards required for successful survey ex*****on.

During the training session, Md. Jasim Uddin, Chairman of MOMODa FOUNDATION, Md. Enamul Haque, Executive Director, along with other research and training facilitators, joined the session and shared valuable guidance and insights with the participants.
