On July 29th, "Green Tomorrow: Youth for a Sustainable Future," a significant Outreach Event was organized by the BRAC University Outreach Team at BRAC University.
Deepti Sarkar, Assistant Director of Outreach at BRAC University, commenced the event with an encouraging opening speech emphasizing the youth's importance in promoting sustainability; followed by Dr. Md. Golam Rabbani, Director of Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER), who facilitated an insightful conversation on climate change, strategies for waste management, and essential environmental insights.
The focal point of the session was YGE's Executives — Arnob Patwary, Mahidul Islam, and Shahriar Mejba; introducing Youth for a Green Earth's core purpose alongside a few insights of Green Genesis 2026. Thereafter, Md. Mountashiour Rahman from BRACU Diganta and Sandip Kumar Paul, co-founder of Project Recycle Earth, volunteered to convey thrilling information regarding the current initiatives of the Social Impact Lab BRACU.
Concluding an exceptional session, Dr. David Dowland, Registrar of BRAC University, shared his comments infused with hope and intent, igniting a collective excitement that prepares us to initiate genuine transformation at Green Genesis 2026. Notably, the entire program was anchored smoothly by Samin Islam & Nabila Nurzahan Sara, YGE's Executives.
