Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, is a time for self-reflection gratitude, and community. As we commemorate Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to make sacrifices for his beliefs, we are reminded of the qualities of generosity, kindness, and selflessness.

We are devastated and heartbroken by the brutal r**e and murder of 7 year old Ramisa Akter.

She was just a child, innocent, full of life, and deserving of every tomorrow that was stolen from her. We stand with Ramisa’s family and with every voice across Bangladesh demanding that justice be swift, thorough, and uncompromising. The accused must face the full weight of the law.

Silence is not an option. As long as children are unsafe, none of us are truly safe.

Rest in peace, little Ramisa.

We are deeply saddened to learn that former NSU Ethics and Diversity Club member, MD Rifat, has fallen victim to a horrific act of violence.

We strongly urge the Bashundhara Residential Area authorities and law enforcement agencies to take immediate action, ensure accountability, and strengthen security measures for the safety of all students and residents.

No one should have to live in fear. We stand united in demanding justice, safety, and humanity.

International Labour Day, honors workers from a multitude of industries. It is a time to consider the accomplishments of laborers and the challenges they have encountered throughout history. Human pride and creative excellence are characterized by labor, and our everyday lives are effortlessly carried out while perched atop this ladder of unwavering labor and plodding service.

Mr. Mahmud Habib Zaman, a long-serving faculty member of the North South University, is widely recognized for his professionalism, engaging presence, and strong commitment to development. He brings a distinguished track record and a thoughtful, effective leadership approach to this role.
