The Earth Society (TES) is launching LifeTree Bangladesh, a regenerative plantation initiative focused on agroforestry and reforestation. Through homestead agroforestry, live fencing, and social forestry, we're working to restore degraded landscapes, strengthen climate resilience, and build sustainable livelihoods for coastal communities living along the ecological buffer zone of the Sundarbans.

MushCycle: সম্ভাবনা থেকে উদ্যোগ, উদ্যোগ থেকে পরিবর্তন 🌱🍄
দিনাজপুরের সাঁওতাল সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষের সঙ্গে কাজ করে MushCycle তৈরি করছে টেকসই জীবিকার নতুন সম্ভাবনা। Green Voices Project-এর Bootcamp Seed Fund Winner হিসেবে তারা এখন বাস্তবভাবে এগিয়ে নিচ্ছে তাদের মাশরুম চাষের উদ্যোগ।
ইতোমধ্যে MushCycle-এর মাশরুম উৎপাদন শুরু হয়েছে। শুধু কাঁচা মাশরুম নয়, উৎপাদিত মাশরুম প্রক্রিয়াজাত করে শুকনো মাশরুমও বাজারজাত করছে তারা। এর মাধ্যমে স্থানীয় জনগোষ্ঠীর জন্য আয়ের সুযোগ তৈরির পাশাপাশি মাশরুমকে কেন্দ্র করে একটি টেকসই ও সম্ভাবনাময় উদ্যোগ গড়ে উঠছে।একটি ছোট উদ্যোগ যখন স্থানীয় মানুষের দক্ষতা, কর্মসংস্থান ও অর্থনৈতিক সম্ভাবনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত হয়—তখন সেটিই হয়ে ওঠে পরিবর্তনের শক্তি। 💚
MushCycle-এর পথচলা হোক আরও সমৃদ্ধ, আরও টেকসই।

From Ideas to Climate Action! | Green Voices Project.
Today, four winning youth teams of the Climate Campaign Seed Fund officially signed their campaign agreements at The Earth Society.
Through this seed fund, the teams will take forward their locally driven climate campaigns and work at the community level on climate policy advocacy, creating meaningful connections between community voices and policymakers.
🤝 Their campaigns will focus on:
🌿 Engaging communities to identify and raise climate-related concerns
📢 Building awareness and amplifying local climate voices
🏛️ Connecting community priorities with policymakers and relevant stakeholders
🌏 Advocating for more inclusive, responsive, and locally relevant climate action
These young changemakers are now ready to move from ideas to action—bringing the voices of communities into conversations that can influence climate policies and decisions.

We are excited to see their ideas come to life and contribute to a more inclusive, resilient, and climate-responsive Bangladesh. 💚

🌱 Eco Leaders Training Program Successfully Completes Its 7th Cohort! 🌍

From 20–22 July 2026, the 7th Cohort of the Eco Leaders Training Program, organized by The Earth Society and funded by the British High Commission, Dhaka, brought together another inspiring group of Bangladesh's emerging young climate leaders for an intensive three-day residential training at SETU Inn, Adabor, Dhaka.

Selected through a highly competitive process from 200+ innovative ideas submitted from across the country, 10 youth-led teams comprising 20 participants—with 50% women representation— were chosen for this cohort, highlighting the growing momentum of youth-driven climate innovation and inclusive leadership in Bangladesh.
Throughout the training, participants engaged in interactive and practical sessions on climate change and environmental protection, just transition, leadership and advocacy, proposal writing, campaign planning and implementation, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to transform innovative ideas into impactful climate action.

🏆 At the closing and networking event, 10 teams pitched their ideas to a panel of experts and stakeholders. Team Shunno and Team Sobuj Shifa were awarded seed funding to implement their climate solutions.

The event also fostered meaningful connections between participants and representatives from government institutions, banks, development organizations, entrepreneurs, and mentors—creating valuable opportunities for collaboration and long-term impact.

💬 Equipped with new knowledge, practical skills, mentorship, and a growing professional network, these young climate leaders are now ready to lead meaningful climate action in their communities. Together, they are shaping a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable Bangladesh.
