Celebrating the best and brightest in our country.

Every year, JCI Bangladesh hosts the Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) awards. This special program honors ten amazing young leaders who create a real impact, lead with purpose, and inspire others to take positive action. They show us what true leadership looks like across our communities.

This year, our grand ceremony was made even more special by our honored guests. We were thrilled to have Honorable Minister Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anne, MP, Minister for the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, join us as our Chief Guest. We were also so happy to welcome our Special Guest, H.E. Reto Renggli, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh. Their presence and inspiring words made the night truly unforgettable.

Honoring our roots and celebrating a legacy of leadership.

Today, October 13, JCI Bangladesh is so proud to celebrate JCI Founder’s Day.

We are honoring the amazing vision of our founder, Henry Giessenbier Jr. He believed deeply in the power of young people. His big idea started a movement that still inspires leaders right here in Bangladesh and everywhere else.

What began as one man's dream has grown into a huge global family. We are all united by a shared promise to lead, serve, and create positive change in our communities.

More than a hundred years later, his belief in young people is still at the heart of everything we do. Every new leader we build in our local chapters, every connection we make, and every community we help is a beautiful reminder that his vision lives on through all of us.

As we look back at where we started, we are more committed than ever to the future we are building together.

Happy JCI Founder’s Day from everyone at JCI Bangladesh! 💙
