🇧🇩 A proud moment is coming for JCI Bangladesh.

Alejandra Castillo, the 2026 JCI President, will join the Closing Ceremony of Culture Without Borders 5.0 as the Chief Guest.
This project was created and led by our local organization, JCI Dhaka West

Culture Without Borders 5.0 brought young people from different countries together to share their traditions, learn from one another, and grow side by side.
Now it is time to close this beautiful journey the right way.

At the ceremony, Alejandra Castillo will share her own story.
She will talk about the culture of Bolivia, its traditions, its values, and the spirit that shaped her early years.

Her message is simple and powerful. We may come from different corners of the map, but our shared human values bring us together far beyond borders. 💙

All participants of Culture Without Borders 5.0 are invited to join.
Members from every JCI chapter are warmly welcome too.

Here are the details:

📅 Date: August 22, 2026
⏰ Time: 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM (GMT+6)
🔗 Meeting link: Will be shared separately

Let us come together to celebrate culture, connection, and the spirit of global leadership.

Every child is born with potential. Not every child is born with a chance. 💙

Some of them are simply never given one, and most of us stop noticing after a while.

Street children grow up without school, without safety, and without anyone telling them they can be something more.
So poverty just raises another generation of poverty.
That is not the future any child deserves.

Our local chapter, JCI Dhaka Dynamic, noticed this big problem.

They knew that we cannot build future leaders if the children with the biggest dreams are left behind.

So, they created an amazing solution called Smart Children! ✨

It was a beautiful journey to take children from survival to success.

JCI Bangladesh wants to say a huge thank you to the whole JCI Dhaka Dynamic team and every sponsor who believed in these children.

Your care showed us that no child is a lost cause when someone finally invests in them.

— Arefeen Raafi Ahmed,
2026 National President,
JCI Bangladesh

Some evenings you attend. Others you never stop talking about.

15 April 2026 was the second kind.
The JCI Bangladesh Inauguration Ceremony 2026 did not just open a new year. It put an entire movement in one room and showed the country exactly what young leadership looks like when it decides to stand up. 🇧🇩

Look at who chose to be there.
Delegates from multiple countries who crossed borders to be in that hall.
Representatives from government bodies of Bangladesh.
The full National Governing Board of JCI Bangladesh.
Local presidents carrying their chapters from every corner of the country.

People do not travel that far for an ordinary evening.
They came because something real is being built here, and they wanted to see it start.

If you were in that room, you felt it. Leadership stopped being a word and became a face.

And when the last promise was made, the night turned into celebration.

The cultural program filled the hall with music, performance, and the kind of laughter that only comes from people who genuinely belong together. Speeches build an organization. Nights like this build a family.

Here is the truth about 2026.
It will not be shaped by the people watching from outside.
It will be shaped by the ones who show up, take the stage, and do the work.

The wind of change is here.
The only question left is whether you will be in the frame next time.
Because leading is our duty.

📸 Swipe through the photos below and see the night that started it all.

When was the last time you did something just for your own peace of mind?

We keep telling everyone to stay strong.
But nobody teaches us how to slow down and breathe.

Stress, pressure, and burnout are becoming a normal part of our daily life.
Many young people carry heavy feelings inside because talking about mental health still feels awkward or shameful. Staying silent does not make the weight lighter.
It only makes people feel more alone.

Our local chapter, JCI Dhaka Young, noticed this big problem.

They knew that we cannot build a happy and healthy generation if people are afraid to open up about how they feel.

So, they created an amazing solution called Snacks n Paint.

It was a beautiful journey to pick up a brush, let the feelings out,
and remind everyone that healing can be simple and fun.

Here is how JCI Dhaka Young helped the community:

They created a safe and relaxed space:
Participants came together for guided painting sessions with light refreshments, where nobody had to pretend to be okay.

They turned art into therapy:
Through self-expression and mindfulness, people lowered their stress and found a gentle way to share what was on their mind. 💙

They broke the silence around mental health:
Honest conversations replaced the stigma, proving that small, simple activities can truly support emotional wellness.

This project showed us that caring for our minds does not need to be complicated. It just needs the right space, the right people, and a little bit of color. 🌿

JCI Bangladesh wants to say a huge thank you to the whole JCI Dhaka Young team.

Your hard work and care showed us all how to look after each other and make mental health a normal thing to talk about.

The JCI Global Youth Summit 2026 ended where global decisions begin — the United Nations Headquarters. 🇧🇩

Day 2 and the final day of the summit took our leaders somewhere unforgettable. The sessions moved inside the United Nations Headquarters in New York, the same halls where the biggest decisions for our planet are made. And standing there among young leaders from all over the globe was our 2026 National President, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed

Our National President joined all the sessions, and he also took the time to walk around and see Bangladesh's contribution on display at the UN Headquarters, a proud reminder that Bangladesh is one of the largest contributors to UN peacekeeping operations.

Our flag has stood for peace across the globe for decades, and today our National President carried that same flag proudly on the JCI global stage.

What a way to close this journey. New friendships, big ideas, and a country represented with pride.

Let's keep learning, leading, and creating impact together.

A proud moment for JCI Bangladesh. 🇧🇩

Our 2026 National President, Arefeen Raafi Ahmed, is representing Bangladesh as a delegate at the JCI 2026 Global Youth Summit in New York City from 29–31 July.

This summit brings young leaders from around the globe together to share ideas and shape a better future.

We wish him a wonderful and successful journey ahead.

What happens when a hardworking fisherman does not even own the boat he sails every day?

Imagine working from sunrise to sunset,
but most of your earnings go to boat rent instead of your family.

Many underprivileged fishermen face this struggle every single day.
They work so hard, yet they stay stuck in the same cycle of low income and zero savings.
This is not the future they deserve.

Our local chapter, JCI Dhaka Metro, noticed this big problem.

They knew that we cannot build a fair and strong community if hardworking people never get the chance to stand on their own.

So, they created an amazing solution called Project Shopner Tori 2.0

It was a beautiful journey to turn dreams into ownership and give deserving families a real path to a better life.

Here is how JCI Dhaka Metro helped the community:

✅They gave the gift of ownership: They provided fishing boats and essential safety accessories to deserving fishermen, so they no longer depend on rented boats.

✅They boosted family income: With their own boats, these fishermen will earn more, save more, and build long-term financial stability.

✅They created a cycle of kindness: Through a revolving fund model, previous beneficiaries will contribute to support new beneficiaries, keeping the empowerment going for years to come.

✅This wonderful initiative also supports SDG 1, SDG 8, and SDG 10.

JCI Bangladesh wants to say a huge thank you to the whole JCI Dhaka Metro team.

Your hard work and care showed us all how to lift up our communities and create real, lasting change.
