We are hiring, Campaign Coordinator for SDG Action Alliance
The SDG Action Alliance, the national coalition of Global Call to Action against Poverty (GCAP) Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Campaign Coordinator to join our team in Dhaka. The Campaign Coordinator will play a crucial role in advancing the campaign on the Universal Social Protection contributing directly our mission of promoting SDGs in Bangladesh.
Salary: BDT 60,000 plus per month
Project duration: Initially for three years
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive campaign strategies to raise citizens voice and advocate for Universal Social Protection in Bangladesh.
2. Coordinate various stakeholders, including Anti-poverty Campaigners, CSOs, Government agencies and international partners to mobilize support for campaign and advocacy. .
3. Organize district and national level events, workshops, and campaigns to engage the public and foster dialogue on social protection issues.
4. Conduct research and analysis to identify gaps in existing Social Protection policies and propose recommendations for improvement.
5. Monitor and evaluate the impact of campaign activities, preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Represent the Alliance at meetings, conferences, and other relevant forums to promote our social protection agenda.
Qualifications:
7. Post Graduation degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communications, English language etc.).
8. At least 3 years of experience in campaign, mobilization and advocacy on any of the related areas preferably in the field of public services and social protection.
9. Strong understanding of social protection policies and programs in Bangladesh, with knowledge of relevant stakeholders and networks.
10. Proficiency in both English and Bengali languages and excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build partnerships effectively.
11. Proven track record of planning and implementing successful advocacy campaigns, including experience in mobilizing grassroots mobilizations.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
13. Willingness to participate in the grassroots and districts level activities as required.
