Executive Committee Meeting of the Dental Implantologists Association of Bangladesh (DIAB) was held today at the DIAB office premises.

The meeting was presided over by DIAB President Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury and conducted by Secretary General Dr. Nazrul Islam. The meeting was attended by Senior Vice-President Prof. Dr. Nurul Amin, Vice-President Prof. Jalal Uddin Mahmood, Joint Secretaries Dr. Sheikh Shahriar Quader and Dr. Maruf Hossain, Organizing Secretary Dr. Fouad Al Hasanat, Office Secretary Dr. Ayasha Akter, Press & Publication Secretary Dr. Md. Salsabil Ibne Shamim, Scientific Secretary Dr. Lutfun Nahar, along with other Executive Committee members of DIAB.

The primary agenda of the meeting was the preparation and planning for the upcoming 4th International Dental Implant Congress & Dental Expo, Dhaka 2026, which will be held on 25 September 2026 at Sheraton Dhaka.

DIAB remains committed to advancing implant dentistry through academic excellence, professional collaboration, and international engagement.

Yesterday, the Dental Implantologist Association of Bangladesh (DIAB) successfully organized its first Bimonthly Seminar of the year at its own premises.

The seminar brought together approximately 80 dental surgeons and implantologists from across Bangladesh in a wonderful gathering of knowledge, collaboration, and professional camaraderie. The keynote lecture titled “Digital Workflow for Implant Prosthesis” was delivered by Dr. Shahriar Islam, offering valuable insights into modern digital approaches in implant prosthodontics. The session was highly informative and well-appreciated by all participants.

The program was presided over by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury, President of DIAB. Among the distinguished leaders present were:

The program was beautifully hosted by the Organizing Secretary, Dr. Fouad Al Hasanat, and was honored by the presence of many distinguished guests.

The seminar was followed by the Yearly Iftar Mahfil of DIAB, fostering unity, professional bonding, and a spirit of collaboration within the implant community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the implant companies for their generous technological support in making this academic event a success.

Together, we continue to advance implant dentistry in Bangladesh through education, innovation, and unity.
