✨ An Evening of Fellowship & Appreciation

Following the successful DIAB Bimonthly Scientific Seminar, DIAB hosted a Gala Dinner in Dhaka to honour our distinguished speaker, Dr. Dhawal Goyal.

Attended by several DIAB Executive Committee members, the evening was filled with lively conversations, shared experiences, and professional camaraderie.

🦷 DIAB Bimonthly Scientific Seminar | A Successful Session on Advanced Implant Dentistry

The Dental Implantologist Association of Bangladesh (DIAB) successfully organized its Bimonthly Scientific Seminar today, featuring an insightful and comprehensive presentation by Dr. Dhawal Goyal, MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, NIMS Dental College, Jaipur, India.

The session focused on “Zygomatic Implants for Challenging Maxillary Cases,” offering valuable clinical insights into advanced implant techniques and the management of complex maxillary cases. Dr. Goyal delivered an engaging presentation spanning approximately 2.5–3 hours, making the session an enriching learning experience for the participants.

The programme was graced by the presence of Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury, President, Prof. Dr. Nurul Amin, Senior Vice-President and Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam, General Secretary of DIAB, along with other distinguished members of the association.

With approximately 50 participants in attendance, the seminar provided an excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing, professional development, and the advancement of clinical expertise in implant dentistry.

DIAB remains committed to strengthening the knowledge and clinical skills of dental surgeons through regular bimonthly scientific seminars, hands-on training, and continuing professional development initiatives.

Our heartfelt condolences and tributes on the earthly demise of one of the advisors of the Dental Implant Association of Bangladesh (DIAB), the legendary Professor Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).

We are deeply saddened and mourning upon hearing the news. It is a great loss for the dentistry of Bangladesh. May Allah grant him the highest Jannah.

Prayers for Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla

The President, Secretary General & all members of the Dental Implantologist Association of Bangladesh (DIAB) are deeply concerned and saddened by the critical condition of our respected Adviser, Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla, who is currently on life support at Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, following a massive haemorrhagic stroke after a complication related to an angiogram.

Prof. Dr. Motiur Rahman Molla is one of the pioneers of modern dentistry in Bangladesh, particularly in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implantology. His contributions to the profession are truly invaluable.

We earnestly pray to Almighty Allah for his speedy and complete recovery. May Allah ease his suffering, bless him with strength, and bring him back to good health.

You are in our prayers, Sir. May Allah bring you back to us soon. Ameen.

Executive Committee Meeting of the Dental Implantologists Association of Bangladesh (DIAB) was held today at the DIAB office premises.

The meeting was presided over by DIAB President Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury and conducted by Secretary General Dr. Nazrul Islam. The meeting was attended by Senior Vice-President Prof. Dr. Nurul Amin, Vice-President Prof. Jalal Uddin Mahmood, Joint Secretaries Dr. Sheikh Shahriar Quader and Dr. Maruf Hossain, Organizing Secretary Dr. Fouad Al Hasanat, Office Secretary Dr. Ayasha Akter, Press & Publication Secretary Dr. Md. Salsabil Ibne Shamim, Scientific Secretary Dr. Lutfun Nahar, along with other Executive Committee members of DIAB.

The primary agenda of the meeting was the preparation and planning for the upcoming 4th International Dental Implant Congress & Dental Expo, Dhaka 2026, which will be held on 25 September 2026 at Sheraton Dhaka.

Our heartfelt condolences and deepest tributes on the passing of the beloved mother of Major General (Rtd.) Prof. Dr. Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury, President, DIAB | Consultant, Evercare Hospital, Dhaka | Former Consultant Dental Surgeon General, Bangladesh Armed Forces.
