A huge thanks to all volunteers, who collectively gathered over 30 bags of trash from Dhanmondi Lake. Their hard work singlehandedly made this event a success.

We’re finally starting recruitment for our upcoming cleanup. Sign up today to join us on our journey! Deadline for submissions is 8th January. Further specifics will be provided to volunteers upon registration.

We are also excited to announce that for the first time, NoboBangla will be providing certificates to all registered volunteers. So don’t wait!

Our Dhanmondi Lake has had been plagued by water hyacinths (Kochuripana). Recently the City Corporation has started working on this issue and has appointed individuals to clear off these waters.
Firstly, hats off these amazing people who are getting in infested waters for the betterment of the society. Secondly, we want to express our gratitude to the ones who have taken the initiative for this crucial change.
Last but not least, NoboBangla is excited to announce our newest project. More details to be released soon! Look out!

Our beautiful lake is being overrun by Water Hyacinths/ Kochuripana (কচুরিপানা), choking its life and beauty. While the City Corporation is doing its best with the resources they have, it’s clear they need our help.

This is our home, our community, and our responsibility. Let’s come together to show the power of determination and the strength of unity. 💪

We are excited to announce our return to Dhanmondi Lake this January. With the state of the lake severely deteriorating over the past few months, we believe it’s time for action, this time on a much larger scale.
