ভাষা আমাদের আত্মার অনুরণন, ইতিহাসের স্পন্দিত শিরা। এটি শুধুমাত্র কিছু শব্দের বিন্যাস নয়, এ আমাদের শেকড়ের দীপ্তি, আমাদের অস্তিত্বের অটল ঘোষণা।

১৯৫২ সালের একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারিতে সালাম, রফিক, বরকতসহ অগণিত ভাষাসৈনিক অন্যায়ের অন্ধকার ভেদ করে সাহসের দীপ জ্বালিয়েছিলেন। তাঁদের রক্তে রাঙানো পথ আমাদের শিখিয়েছে যে মাতৃভাষার মর্যাদা কোনো শক্তির কাছে নত হয় না, কোনো ভয়ের কাছে থেমে যায় না।

সেই আত্মত্যাগ আজও আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, ভাষাকে ভালোবাসা মানে নিজের সত্তাকে আলোকিত করা, নিজের পরিচয়কে সম্মানের উচ্চতায় প্রতিষ্ঠা করা। ভাষার মর্যাদা রক্ষার এই অমলিন শিক্ষা চিরকাল আমাদের পথপ্রদর্শক হয়ে থাকবে।

“গাছে গাছে নতুন পাতা, উত্তুরে বাতাসের পরিবর্তন… তেপান্তরের মাঠ বয়ে ভেসে আসা চুপ থাকা কোকিলের মধুর কলতান”

বসন্ত মানেই শুধু ফুল ফোটা নয়, হঠাৎ করে মনটা হালকা হয়ে যাওয়া। দূর থেকে কোকিলের ডাক ভেসে আসে, হালকা বাতাসে সরিষার ক্ষেতে হলুদ ঢেউ ওঠে, চারপাশ যেন নিজে থেকেই নতুন কিছুর ইশারা দেয়।ঢোলের তাল, বাঁশির সুর আর মাঠভরা ফুলের সুভাষ মিলে বসন্ত হয়ে ওঠে অনুভূতির এক মায়াবী আবহ। বসন্তের এই ঋতু আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়, যত ক্লান্তিই জমে থাকুক না কেন, একটু রোদ আর একটু রঙ পেলেই মন আবার হাসতে শেখে।
