Hadi ✊

was a political and cultural activist, co‑founder and spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho — a group tied to the July 2024 uprisings.

He had also announced his candidacy for the Dhaka‑8 constituency ahead of the February 2026 general election, representing a call for democratic reform.

🔫 What happened

On 12 December 2025 Hadi was shot in the head by assailants on a motorcycle in the Paltan area of Dhaka.

After emergency treatment in Dhaka, he was flown to Singapore for advanced care, but died on 18 December 2025.

⚖️ Legal actions & controversy

Police have filed a charge sheet against 17 people, saying Hadi was targeted out of “political vengeance.”

Authorities have arrests and remands in connection with the case, and a speedy tribunal trial is planned.

Supporters and his party Inqilab Moncho reject the initial charges, calling for a full investigation into all those “behind” the killing.

✊ Public reaction

His death provoked protests and marches demanding justice, with many chanting slogans and rejecting the charges as incomplete.

It stirred political tensions nationwide, deepening debates about safety for activists, the political climate, and upcoming elections.

শুনতে খুব ছোট মনে হচ্ছে?
কিন্তু এই একটা শব্দের ভেতরেই লুকিয়ে আছে
👉 ভয়ের ইতিহাস
👉 চুপ থাকার সংস্কৃতি
👉 আর ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মের ভাগ্য 🇧🇩

আজকাল সবাই খুব “নিরপেক্ষ” হতে চায়।
কেউ বলে— আমি রাজনীতি বুঝি না
কেউ বলে— এসব পোস্টে কিছু হয় না
কেউ আবার বলে— চুপ থাকাই বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ

কিন্তু ইতিহাস কখনো চুপ থাকা মানুষদের ক্ষমা করেনি।
কারণ যখন অন্যরা সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়,
তখন আপনার চুপ থাকাটাই তাদের শক্তি হয়ে দাঁড়ায়।

একটু ভাবুন—
আজ আপনি যদি হ্যাঁ বলতে ভয় পান,
কাল যখন আপনার কথা বলার অধিকারটাই কমে যাবে,
তখন দোষটা কার হবে?

এই পোস্টটা অনেকের ভালো লাগবে না।
অনেকে হাসবে।
অনেকে রাগ করবে।
অনেকে unfollow করবে।
কেউ কেউ report করতেও পারে।

কিন্তু সেটাই প্রমাণ—
👉 কথাটা ঠিক জায়গায় লাগছে।

নতুন বাংলাদেশ মানে শুধু স্লোগান নয়।
নতুন বাংলাদেশ মানে—
ভয় ছাড়া মতামত,
চুপ না থেকে অবস্থান,
আর প্রয়োজন হলে হ্যাঁ বলার সাহস।

আর কে কে শুধু দেখে চলে যায়।
