Coordination Meeting Held at BASIS

A coordination meeting of BASIS Students’ Forum was held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the BASIS Boardroom. The meeting focused on the reformation of all university committees of BASIS Students’ Forum and planning initiatives to organize IT-related seminars, workshops, and training programs aimed at developing students’ skills and industry readiness.

The meeting was attended by Mr. AHM Rokmunur Zaman Rony, Mr. Belal Ahmed, Mr. Ferdosh Alam, and Mr. Mohammad Abdul Majid from the BASIS Associate Committee. Also present were H. M. Imam Hasan, Deputy Manager, Public Relations; Mehedi Hasan Jarjis, Senior Software Engineer; Anowar Parvez Rabbi, Executive, Events & Creative; and Md. Mofazzal Hossain, Coordinator, BITM.

The discussion emphasized strengthening collaboration between BASIS and academic institutions to nurture a skilled and future-ready IT talent pool.

জ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তির সম্মিলনে তরুণদের নিয়ে বেসিসের উদ্যোগ
ঢাকা, ১৫ নভেম্বর ২০২৫: বাংলাদেশ অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব সফটওয়্যার অ্যান্ড ইনফরমেশন সার্ভিসেস (বেসিস) এর উদ্যোগে এবং বেসিস স্টুডেন্টস’ ফোরামের সহযোগীতায় আজ বেসিস অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় ঢাকায় অবস্থিত বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের সাথে মতবিনিময় সভা। এই আয়োজনে অংশ নেয় ২৫টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কনভেনার, কো-কনভেনার ও নির্বাহী সদস্যরা।

অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন বেসিস প্রশাসক আবুল খায়ের মোহাম্মদ হাফিজুল্লাহ্ খান। এসময় আরও উপস্থিত ছিলেন সহায়ক কমিটির সংশ্লিষ্ট সদস্যবৃন্দ এবং বেসিস সচিবালয়ের প্রতিনিধিরা।

বেসিস স্টুডেন্টস’ ফোরাম প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে দেশের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোতে বিভিন্ন ধরনের প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক উদ্ভাবন এবং প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক চর্চার বিকাশে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে। শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে প্রযুক্তি চর্চার কার্যক্রম শক্তিশালী করা, নেতৃত্বের বিকাশ, প্রযুক্তিভিত্তিক শিল্প এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে সহযোগিতা বৃদ্ধি—এসব লক্ষ্য সামনে রেখে ঢাকায় অবস্থিত বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কমিটিগুলোর এই মতবিনিময় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে গত বছরের বিভিন্ন ধরনের কার্যক্রম পর্যালোচনা, আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সমন্বয়, আগামী বছরের পরিকল্পনা এবং বেসিসের অগ্রাধিকারমূলক উদ্যোগসমূহের সঙ্গে শিক্ষার্থী কার্যক্রমের সামঞ্জস্য—এসব বিষয় গুরুত্ব পায়। এছাড়াও, অনুষ্ঠানে মুক্ত আলোচনা পর্ব এবং নেটওয়ার্কিং সেশন অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

সভাপতির বক্তব্যে বেসিস প্রশাসক আবুল খায়ের মোহাম্মদ হাফিজুল্লাহ্ খান বলেন, “আমাদের তরুণ সমাজই আগামী দিনের প্রযুক্তি খাতের আসল চালিকাশক্তি। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলোর শিক্ষার্থীরা যদি হাতে–কলমে শেখে, শিল্পের চাহিদা বুঝে দক্ষতা গড়ে তোলে, তাহলে বাংলাদেশের আইসিটি খাত আরও গতিশীল হবে। স্টুডেন্টস’ ফোরামের নেতৃত্ব যারা দিচ্ছেন, তারা এই পরিবর্তনের সামনের সারির শক্তি। বেসিস সবসময় তাদের পাশে থাকবে।”

বেসিস বিশ্বাস করে এই অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে স্টুডেন্টস’ ফোরামের আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় সমন্বয় আরও দৃঢ় হবে, নির্বাহী সদস্যদের মধ্যে নতুন উদ্দীপনা তৈরি হবে এবং ২০২৬ সালের কার্যক্রমের একটি সুস্পষ্ট পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করা সম্ভব হবে।
