FINISH-Mondial Bangladesh The FINISH Mondial programme envisions a world in which people have access to safely managed sanitation and are financially included.

ation started a year later after signing contracts with partners. In Bangladesh, the programme is currently being implementing by Practical Action, BASA, Uttaran and ESDO in Faridpur, Satkhira Sakhipur, Jamalpur, Gaibandha, municipalities and Rangpur City Corporation. Bangladesh has made impressive progress in the sanitation sector by almost eliminating open defecation, though it does not mean that sanitation challenges are solved as there are many unimproved toilets and faecal sludge management needs to be urgently improved. Building on previous programs from WASTE and the WASH SDG alliance, FINISH Mondial Bangladesh is focused on (peri-) urban areas with sanitation facilities, financial inclusion, waste management and faecal sludge management.
