Zonta District 25 – 18th Biennial Conference
Area I & II | Hotel Renaissance, Gulshan, Dhaka
We’ve just concluded a truly enriching three-day conference filled with shared purpose, friendship, and the collective spirit of Zontians from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal led by Governor
Ztn. Dr. Zareen Delawar Hussain,
Zonta International District 25 . Although our sisters from India could not attend due to unavoidable circumstances, their presence was felt throughout the sessions.
We were honoured to welcome our International Representative, Ztn. Philips Jacob’s Lory, who joined us all the way from New Zealand—her guidance was deeply inspiring. We were equally moved by the powerful words of Ztn. Dilruba Ahmad, whose speech filled us with motivation and strength.
One of the most memorable highlights was the performance and participation of our Zee and Youth Club, the bright future of Zonta. Under the dedicated leadership of Ztn. Nasreen Khan Anni, District Zee & Youth Chair, their panel discussion moderated by Dr. Rubina Hussain and their remarkable Malala Dance marked a historic first for District 25.
We were delighted to witness the induction of our newest club, Zonta Club of Sonargaon. The new President, Ztn Lazina Mona, impressed everyone with her vision and leadership—surely a promising beginning.
The memorial segment and the interactive Q&A session left a deep impact on all participants. The conference also buzzed with energy at the vibrant marketplace, where members showcased their creativity. Our Nepali and Sri Lankan delegates especially enjoyed exploring the beautiful displays.
Heartfelt gratitude to Conference Chair Ztn. Sonia Panni, Co-Chair Ztn. Farahnaz Qaiyum, all Conference Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs, Ztn. Tootli Rahman and her talented performers, the Zee and Youth teams, and every member whose presence and effort made this conference a resounding success.
Here’s to sisterhood, service, and a stronger Zonta District 25.
