Today, we wrapped up our Bridging the Gender Gap project with a validation workshop!!

Throughout the project, we developed 15 recommendations through 6 consultations across 5 districts. Experts from UN entities, financial institutions, government, research institutions, and development partners critically reviewed these recommendations and shared their valuable insights and expert perspectives.

Now, it is time to take these recommendations forward and hand them over to the government for consideration and incorporation into the NDC 3.0 implementation roadmap.

So we funded 10 projects under our Youth for NDCs Implementers Fellowship by Youth for NDCs, with support from Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform - YECAP & United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh. and now, we highlight the projects.

The first project we want to highlight is Project YouthVolt by our Implementer Fellow Atkia.

What if saving energy started with young people tracking how much we waste every day?

Through YouthVolt, Atkia piloted a youth-led energy efficiency and MRV model in Dhaka, working with households and schools to make energy-saving practical, measurable, and community-led.

BUP, WE CAME WITH SOME ENERGY!!! ⚡🔥

What happens when you bring energy conversations straight to a university campus? A lot of opinions, interesting conversations, and some serious ENERGY!

Our Energy Influencer University Activation made its way to Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), connecting with students and getting them talking about energy, affordability, renewables, and the future they want.

Because energy isn't just a policy issue. It's a youth issue too!

SUST WAS AMAZINGGGGG!!!!

Youth for NDCs, in partnership with Shahjalal University of Science and Technology & Divine Spectrum, SUST, With support from the German Embassy Dhaka organized the "University Dialogue on People Led LT-LEDs: Bangladesh's Low Carbon Future" at Sust last month.
