As part of a joint advocacy initiative of the CSO Forum for Strengthening Sustainable SRHR Ecosystem in Bangladesh and R**e Law Reform Coalition- RLRC Bangladesh, Ipas Bangladesh, as the Secretariat of the CSO Forum, organized "Consultative Meeting on Actions to be Taken for Implementing the High Court's Directives on the Legal Protection of R**e Victims on 20 April 2026 at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.

The meeting focused on strengthening the understanding of High Court directives on legal protection for r**e survivors, using standardized guidelines, Health Sector Response to GBV protocol, and gathering recommendations for their effective implementation, with participation from both relevant health and legal sectors, law enforcement agencies, NGOs, and representatives from CSO Forum RLRC member organizations.

A roundtable discussion titled “Ending Digital Violence: Policy Priorities for Advancing Health and Justice for Women and Girls” was held on 8 December 2025 at The Daily Star Centre, Dhaka.

The event was jointly organized by the CSO Forum for Strengthening Sustainable SRHR Ecosystem in Bangladesh and The Daily Star, with support from Ipas Bangladesh and AdSEARCH by icddr,b. The dialogue brought together policymakers, development practitioners, scientist, legal and health professionals, and civil society representatives to discuss urgent policy priorities for addressing digital violence against women and girls.

বাংলাদেশে নারী ও শিশুর প্রতি সংঘটিত যৌন সহিংসতা নিরসন এবং ধর্ষণ অপরাধে ভুক্তভোগী ব্যক্তির ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যে বিদ্যমান আইন ও মহামান্য হাইকোর্ট বিভাগের নির্দেশনা সমূহ কার্যকর করার উদ্দেশ্যে করণীয় নির্ধারণে ধর্ষণ আইন সংস্কার জোট (R**e Law Reform Coalition-RLRC) এবং SRHR CSO Forum একসাথে কাজ করছে। এই দুই কোয়ালিশনের পক্ষে ব্লাস্ট ‘ধর্ষণ অপরাধে ভুক্তভোগী ব্যক্তির আইনগত সুরক্ষায় হাইকোর্টের নির্দেশনা বাস্তবায়নে করণীয়’ - বিষয়ক এই মতবিনিময় সভা আয়োজন করেছে। সভায় আইনজীবী, ধর্ষণ আইন সংস্কার জোট এর প্রতিনিধি, নারী ও শিশু আদালতের পিপি মহোদয়, আইন শৃংখলা বাহিনীর সদস্য, সিভিল সার্জেন প্রতিনিধি, নারী ও শিশু সহায়তা সেল এর প্রতিনিধিসহ অন্যান্যরা অংশগ্রহন করে।

📢 The SRHR CSO Forum 9th Quarterly Meeting

The SRHR CSO Forum convened its 9th quarterly meeting on 30 September 2025 at BRAC Tower, organized by the BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health.

During the meeting, members reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening a sustainable and inclusive SRHR ecosystem in Bangladesh, fostering collaboration and collective action towards ensuring rights-based health services for all.
