Outrage has erupted in Savar following the gang r**e of a 22-year-old Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) student, with local residents holding a human chain and protest march to demand the immediate arrest of the identified suspects. The incident occurred last Wednesday when the victim, while walking home from a private tuition, was abducted and r**ed by known drug peddlers Sohail, Biplob, and Mithu Rozario in a wooded area of the Gopalpara neighborhood. Although a case has been filed at the Savar Model Police Station, the failure to apprehend the perpetrators has sparked public fury, leading to the protest organized by the Birulia Ulama and Imam Parishad after Friday prayers.

Can’t believe it’s been 2 whole years since English 8 began this wild ride.
From day one in 2023 till now, it’s been a rollercoaster of friendship, struggle, laughter, and endless chaos. We’ve survived boring lectures, quizzes, and those cursed group projects where only one person works (you know who you are). Between late-night cramming and early-morning panic, we somehow found our people - the ones we could cry with, rant to, and laugh until our stomachs hurt. There’s been bitching, breakdowns, bonding, and everything in between - and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve come a long way together, and we’ve still got 2 more years to make mistakes, memories, and maybe finally figure out what literary theory actually means. Here’s to English 8 - we may be dramatic, disorganized, and a little dysfunctional, but we’re doing this together.
