The Attention Community Studio space has been rented by the very deserving Zero Missing Children, a youth-led movement united by one promise - to gift Bangladesh and the world a safer future for every child. From villages to cities, from schools to online spaces ZMC’s mission is to ensure that no child suffers abuse, goes missing, or grows up in fear.
Attention’s very own mission was to create the best space for people to belong and thrive. We are ecstatic that this young team will take over the beautiful space as is, and run their operations to create the best space but for children and teens to be specific. It’s a beautiful moment for us and we wanted to share this update with our well wishers and broader community.
ZMC will use the space exclusively to run the support centre linked with the toll-free hotline 13219 - a symbolic number (13 to 19 - 13219), dedicated for any teenager to call the hotline and share their grievances from life. ZMC will try their best to reach out to the right authorities with speed and precision, and handle as many teen life and death cases (su***de, cyber harassment, any life threat, etc) as possible.
The Attention mission lives on. We are a community of communities and we want to direct attention to the right people and right communities so that our city feels like home.
